Because of a smoke condition, 47/50 St-Rockefeller Ctr is impassable.

(B) 42nd Street to Coney Island

(D) runs in two sections: 205th to 59th - 42nd to Coney Island

(F) via the (E) between Queens and W4th

(M) to Broad Street

(I believe that the (C)(E)(F) can fit on one track. There's been times when they've had to reroute (E) trains on 6th Avenue and the (E)(F)(M) were fine, right? The (C) and (M) have about the same tph I believe)

Due to broken fence near Tuskegee Airmen Depot, various buses and taxis fall into Metro-North train track.

In addition, there is stink bomb at 125th St (4)(5)(6) and 149th St-Grand Concourse, and Fire Drill at Bloomingdale causing station closured at Lexington Av-59th St

125th St and 59th St-Lex Av impassable. Metro-North trains cannot pass Harlem-125th St either.

Affected (4)(5)(6)(N)(Q) ®/MNRR- Harlem/Hudson/New Haven Lines and few buses.

Caution: The following solution uses logic, a concept that may quite possibly be foreign to some of you.

(B) suspended

(D) two sections: 205th to 34th - 36th Street (Brooklyn) to Coney Island

(N) two sections: Astoria to Whitehall - Pacific to Coney Island

(Q) Prospect Park to Coney Island

(R) two sections: Forest Hills to Whitehall - Pacific to Bay Ridge (express between Pacific and 36th)

LMAO you are talking about logic when nothing was mentioned about the bridge being closed. Nice try.

My fault that I didn't make this clearer, but the (B)(Q) tracks are unaffected.

My solution:

(B) Suspended

(D)(N) Stop at Dekalb Av

(N) Trains run local in Brooklyn

(R) No trains between Whitehall and Pacific St.

The MTA's overnight GOs in all Brooklyn Tunnels (not the Bridges) goes into overtime into the AM rush, so trains cannot pass through any of them until Midday, the expected finish time. Reroute accordingly.

No foam.

Just out of curiosity why is everyone suspending the (C)?

Well, the (C) is often considered a supplementary route because you can just run the (A) local to replace it. Thus, the (C) is often the first route to be suspended when track capacity is an issue (e.g. reroutes that require sharing tracks w/ another line, or temporary terminals that can't handle many trains as the usual ones).

The express track has a switch just south of Utica. The express could use this one, while the local switches to the express after Utica, goes onto the track, switches to Downtown Express, then switches to the local before the express switches back to the downtown track.
