Good luck with this one! :)

Due to flooding, no trains can pass through West 4 Street in either direction.

(A) runs in two sections:

207th-14th Street (local except for skipping 23rd Street in both directions and both express tracks used in both directions between south of Penn Station and 14th Street)

Chambers Street (A) platform OR Canal Street, Manhattan-Far Rockaway, Queens (select (A) trains terminate on the Brooklyn-bound Canal Street express platform, others terminate at Chambers Street).

(B) is suspended

(C) does not operate in Manhattan. Line operates from Hoyt-Schermerhorn Brooklyn (with one Transit Museum train cleared out of the Court Street-Museum Station so (C) trains can turn there) and is extended to Lefferts Boulevard, Queens, replacing the (A) along that route.

(D) operates in two sections:

205th Street Bronx-34th Street

Broadway-Lafayette Street-Coney Island

(E) operates to/from 34th Street-Penn Station ONLY, using the express platform to terminate and stopping on the express track at 42nd Street.

(F) Operates in two sections:

179th Street-34th Street-6th Avenue

Delancey Street-Coney Island

(M) terminates at Broadway-Lafayette using both local tracks to terminate (trains operate in both directions on both tracks Essex-Broadway-Lafayette). Due to this, expect delays on (J) service as some Manhattan-bound M trains must use the center track at Essex to wrong-rail to Broadway-Lafayette in order for those trains to terminate on the Brooklyn-bound local track there.

The following stations are closed:

23rd Street (6th AND 8th Avenue)

14th Street-6th Avenue

Spring Street-6th Avenue

Houston Street/1st-2nd Avenue (walk to either Broadway-Lafayette or Essex-Delancey OR Prince Street (R) station)

To/from 23rd Street-8th Avenue, transfer at 42nd Street to/from (1)/(2)/(3) OR to/from 1 at Columbus Circle

To/from 14th/23rd Street 6th Avenue, transfer at 34th Street to (N)/(Q)/®, to/from 14th, transfer to/from (L) at 6th Avenue OR to/from 14th Street transfer to/from 1 at Columbus Circle.

To/from Broadway-Lafayette, transfer at 53rd Street-Lexington Avenue E OR 63rd Street F station to/from (6) (at 51st or 59th Street respectively), which can be taken to/from Bleecker Street.

This is how I would work around losing a hub like West 4th.

There are two (S) trains:

One via the 6th Avenue line Broadway-Lafayette to DeKalb Avenue

These lines have one train on each track which runs in both directions.

Via the (1) 34th Street-Penn Station to South Ferry and terminates there (select trains terminate at Rector and run via the loop)

Bergen Street, Grand Army Plaza or Eastern Parkway-Flatbush Avenue (select trains terminate at each station and both tracks are used in both directions between Eastern Parkway and Bergen Street)

(3) runs in two sections:

148th Street-Lenox Terminal to Park Place

Bergen Street, Grand Army Plaza or Eastern Parkway-New Lots Avenue (select trains terminate at each station and both tracks are used in both directions between Eastern Parkway and Bergen Street)

(4) runs Woodlawn-Borough Hall

(5) runs Dyre Avenue-Bowling Green

Shuttle buses are as follows:

Borough Hall (Court Street)-Franklin Avenue/Botanic Garden (IRT Stops and 7th Avenue on (B)/ (Q))

NEXT:

A bomb threat in 2014 on 1 World Trade Center causes the whole downtown area to be shut down.

No trains can go further south than Canal Street or Grand Street on their respective lines.

Exceptions:

(B), (D), (F), (M), (N), (Q). (6) trains are allowed to turn around using the City Hall loop, but cannot let off any passengers at Brooklyn Bridge.

All lines that reach Lower Manhattan that aren't here are affected. Good luck, and reroute wisely. (Also, Fulton Street Transit Center is finished, but closed.)

I think we should have a separate thread for foam competitions.

ANYWAY...

Both tracks on the TOP level of Queensboro Plaza N/Q/7 are unusable.

(N) Trains single-track through Queensboro Plaza. To accommodate this, some northbound trains terminate at 57 St.

(Q) No trains north of 57 St. Some northbound trains terminate at 42 St.

(7) To avoid overcrowding the N, trains run in two sections:

......Main St to 74 St.

......74 St to Times Square, every 15-20 minutes, single-track between Hunterspoint and 33.

NEXT

Because of an incident at 23 St, the uptown local (N)(R) track is not usable.

Please foam as much as possible. :o
