Does Queensboro Plaza count as part of the line in this case?

If so:

(N) to Forest Hills via 60th Street.

(Q) to 57th Street/7th Avenue.

Shuttle Bus: 31st Street/Ditmars Blvd to Queens Plaza North; Queens Plaza South to 31st Street/Ditmars Blvd; All Astoria stops.

If Queensboro Plaza is open:

(N) to Queensboro Plaza.

(Q) to 57th Street/7th Avenue.

Shuttle Bus: 31st Street/Ditmars Blvd to Queens Plaza North; Queens Plaza South to 31st Street/Ditmars Blvd; All Astoria stops.

NEXT: Structural problems at Fulton Local stops. The following stops are impassible on the local tracks due to this problem being fixed:

-Franklin Ave

-Kingston Throop Avenues

-Liberty Ave

You can only add in 2 switches in any place.

No, adding switches is completely unrealistic and would require shutting down the entire area for a long period of time.

And this one's simple: (C) runs express from Hoyt to Euclid

Use the B25 and (J)(Z)(3)as alternates.

NEXT: A homeless man has created a fire that got out of control in the 6th Ave tunnel just south of West 4th Street. Repairs to the signal boxes and much more must be made. No trains can pass on both uptown 6th Ave tracks just south of W4. This will take about a year to repair.

Due to a track malfunction at Bowling Green , No Trains can use the loop or station. Reroute all trains.

You do mean switch or signal, right?

Anyways,

(4) Woodlawn- Brooklyn Bridge, Borough Hall to New Lots Av

(5) via 7 Av to Flatbush

(6) Regular service..

NEXT:

(4)(5)(6) :

Due to signal problems at 86 Street

(4) and (5) trains are not running between 86 Street and Grand Central- 42 Street

(6) trains are not running between 59 Street and 86 Street.

(Lets just say that the power loss at 86th will affect part of the local track and more on the express track..)

(1)(2)(3) :

Due to a police investigation at 72 Street

(1) trains are not running between 96 Street and 59 Street- Columbus Circle.

(2) trains are not running between 96 Street and Times Square- 42 Street.

(3) trains are suspended.

REROUTE ALL TRAINS, THIS IS RUSH HOUR SO ROADS ARE JAMMED WITH CARS!

So basically, the Manhattan IRT is screwed. I'm not BS'ing on the Lex one though, I tried making it as realistic and challenging as possible.

Personally, I try to stay away from this thread because of........ well . But one time wouldn't hurt....

(1) Few delays.

(2) Runs local between Chambers Street & Times Square. Few extra trains provided if necessary?

(3) Runs between 14 Street & 148 Street

(4) see R188s post above. Using switches south of Brooklyn Bridge.

(5) E180 Street & Dyre Avenue?

(6) Normal.

Next - 239th Street and E. 180 yards are isolated from the mainline due to points failures. It is 30 minutes before morning rush hour. How do you provide lines with service?

Trains from Westchester serve. All <6> runs cancelled, trains run down via the express track making no stops. Some (6) runs are cancelled, and do the same thing. These trains reverse at 125th and run up to serve the (2).

Some R62 trains from Livonia serve the (2).

More (4) trains than normal run.

(5) trains run as a shuttle from E 180th to Dyre

I am going to assume that there are less than 10 sets running on both lines.

Service Change Posted 3/2/2013 4:55 AM

Due to a shortage of trains because of isolation of yards,

Peak hours:

(1) trains are running from 242 St- Van Cortlandt Park to 148 St- Lenox Terminal with delays due to  trains having to be used on the (2) line.

(2) trains run between Wakefield- 241 St and Flatbush Av with delays.

(3) trains are suspended, with the trains being used on the (2).

(4) trains are running to New Lots Av, making local stops in Brooklyn with delays because some trains are being used on the (5) line.

(5) trains are running between Dyre Av and Flatbush Av making local stops in Manhattan with limited service.

(6) trains are running betwen Pelham Bay Park and Bowling Green with delays because some trains being used on the (5) line.

Limited (7) express service will run due to trains being used on the (6) line.

After AM rush/before PM rush/off-peak hours:

(1) trains are running with delays.

(2) trains are running with delays due to train shortage.

(3) trains run every 30 minutes.

(4) trains are running to New Lots Av with delays.

(5) trains are running from Dyre Av and Bowling Green with delays.

(6) trains are running with delays.

What's serving the local south of 96?

Oops, I just realized I made a typo..

It was supposed to be Rector Street. I always get mixed up with Manhattan, because one time I was about to say "shuttle buses from Chambers St to 148 St Lenox Terminal" when there were trains running on the 7 Ave...

Okay, lets start all over again without my stupid typos and fail thinking..

Select (1) trains run to 148 St- Lenox Terminal.

EDIT: Screw my original plan. New plan...
