Wallyhorse Posted May 18, 2013 Share #3702 Posted May 18, 2013 And how will all those manhattan bound riders on that G during the AM rush get into town? Ferry? Don't say "Transfer to the E at queens plaza" because there isn't enough capacity on those trains in the AM. QBL is a very busy line. Um, if they are looking for Midtown, there is also the at Court Square.

GreeneggsnPelham Posted June 6, 2013 Share #3725 Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) I don't know if NYCRailfan specified if East 180 was part of the damage, assuming FP is having the shuttle run. I like your method FP, but I would alter it somewhat: I'd have the Manhattan-Brooklyn portion of the terminate on the upper level of 149-Concourse, middle track so not to disturb the . That would leave room for the to terminate at the lower level of 149, and then relay over the switches before 3 Av. I don't know if the can handle Lenox all by itself during the weekday rush hours. And of course the obligatory shuttle buses between Wakefield and Mott-Haven. -A Edited June 6, 2013 by GreeneggsnPelham
