What's "missing" in Roosevelt "island" is an express route. * BM5 Woodhaven got the first riddle right.... He got the basis/theme behind my reasoning, but there's more to it.... check it out: Bx9: runs on E. 180th st (the street), but doesn't serve E 180th st Bx36: runs on E 174th st, but doesn't serve E. 174th st Bx16: runs on E 233rd st, but doesn't serve E. 233rd st Bx17: runs on E. 149th st, but doesn't serve either of the 2 train stations along E. 149th st (GC & 3rd av stations) Bx31: runs on E. 233rd... but serves E. 233rd st . =============================== Since MysteriousBTrain got one of the riddles correct first, it's his turn.....
