Metro CSW 1,507 #9 Posted December 14, 2012 (edited) I might have forgotten Huntington tranist's phantoms as well. Are those DD50s powered? IIRC (If I Remember Clearly), I think the 1997 & 2003 models are DD50-powered....... Blitz 762 #11 Posted December 14, 2012 Bee Line's Neoplan AN460s I believe are 60 series powered
jgood6195 216 #12 Posted December 14, 2012 (edited) Bee Line's Neoplan AN460s I believe are 60 series powered Damn, I had forgotten about those. If we are also including the series 60, we might as well include NJT' MCI D4000s and D4500s as well as Bee Line's 2001 Neoplan AN460 artics. Aussieinuk 83 #13 Posted December 14, 2012 What I really meant to say was Detroit Diesel ' two strokes', like 8V71's, 6V92's, etc.

jgood6195 216 #17 Posted December 15, 2012 Oh, I thought you were talking about the 40 footers which have Cummins ISMs IIRC. The buses with ISMs are from 2006.
jgood6195 216 #18 Posted December 15, 2012 Does NJT's 2003-2004 Neoplan AN460s (or AN459s) have DD60 series?
Blitz 762 #19 Posted December 15, 2012 What I really meant to say was Detroit Diesel ' two strokes', like 8V71's, 6V92's, etc. You have a couple of fishbowls and "old looks" running on the M42 just for the Holliday season, that's all I can think of. Unless u wanna go to sheepshead bay and ride some boats
MHV9218 5,216 #20 Posted December 16, 2012 Take a tour bus...Big Taxi Tours has one ancient Neoplan with a 6v92 that they run every day, that's about it for regular service.

MHV9218 5,216 #23 Posted December 16, 2012 Wasn't sure which of the two it was, thanks for the clarification.
Eric B 1,028 #24 Posted December 18, 2012 Correction. They DO have a 6V92 one. (#25) In fact, one of the former Grey Line Neoplans with the silver fluting on the side. Just pulled up here on 5th@32nd right after one of the former NYApple, with the 8V92 (#20) pulled off. I had never seen that on there before
MHV9218 5,216 #25 Posted December 19, 2012 There we go then, 25's the one I was thinking of. It's relatively recently acquired, I think -- the fleet used to only go from 20-24.
