EE Broadway Local Posted March 15, 2011 Share #977 Posted March 15, 2011 This through station is a former terminal that once saw three services terminate there. By Day-Part, two of the services terminated elsewhere but on weekdays all three did terminate there while on weekends, two of the three terminated there. Can you: 1. Name this station and the years it was a terminal: 2. Name the three services that terminated there during the time I am referring to: 3. Describe the routing of these three services today in 2011? Kacie Jane Posted March 15, 2011 Share #978 Posted March 15, 2011 I'm going to guess... 1. 57th/6th from about 1986-88. 2. ( eves & weekends, (Q6Av) weekdays, late nights 3. ( no longer runs evenings or weekends, runs 145th or Bedford to Brighton Beach during the day, (Q6Av) moved back to Broadway and runs from Astoria or 57th/7th to Coney Island 24/7, and the now runs to Jamaica 24/7 and is the only line still serving the station. [Edit: Oops... I don't know why my brain went to 57th/6th first. The answer is 21st-Queensbridge, but I'm not sure on the years. My answers to #2 and #3 above should be right though.] [Edit #2: 1990-1997]
