However the was so shocked by the issues they encountered with the R44, and R46's that they went with the most archaic technology that they could come with. If you ever wanted a look at what the R68, and R68A's were supposed to look like they would have looked like the trains that runs on the Tren Urbano Metro in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Last I heard, that project was cancelled. that stinks but it makes sense. the and run just fine with the R68/As the way they are. In 1995 the Train ended up receiving R68 2592-2791 from CIY while CIY got all of the R68As. As for the OP, the Train was originally supposed to get part of the R160 order (180 Cars) when they were coming in but Concourse Yard didn't have the equipment available to maintain them (Except for the wash).
