In short They will not run a 480 foot train through the 53rd St. corridor, they will not run a 480 foot train through Queens Blvd because of crowding, capacity, and safety concerns. Running a 600 ft train they won't be able to platform on the Eastern Division stations so the two are mutually exclusive.
