I have been riding the MTA all of my life and am now preparing to take Exam # 8094 for C/R on Saturday. I am from the street, so I think I'm ready. My true goal is to bide my time on the job, become a T/O and eventually become a TSS. That is where the $$$ is. If I play my cards right after 10-15 yrs. maybe they'll let me become a Super.
