FamousNYLover 580 Posted December 28, 2008 Share #13 Posted December 28, 2008 I think I could make it this event after taking half Vintage Bus trip in early morning. (I meant if it doesn't rain. One question. Do I have to give $16.95 to Ms. Cookie or I have to buy ticket first before we meet? I have 30-Day MetroCard.

Ken S. 4 Posted December 28, 2008 Share #15 Posted December 28, 2008 That sounds about right. NJ sales tax is 7% unless you're in a UEZ. Then it's 3.5%. According to Wikipedia, the Jersey Gardens are in a UEZ and subject to 3.5% sales tax. However there is a 3% tax on certain items from the City of Elizabeth.
