  1. Copy, Copy. I would take that 7090-7365 have what signs? Hanover? and 7438-7482 have Axion? (Correction if needed please)
  2. ...... Definitely breaking news. So as of right now. No-GO on the SBS82 implementation for July Monkey wrench on the current bus order....
  3. Looks like most of the Brooklyn Division signs just got updated.. (XD40)'s. Saw what you were referring to earlier today with Fresh Pond, Flatbush, East New York and Grand Avenue. Although there is a slight difference with the fonts. I believe these are the same signs that have the white colors with the Q70SBS. Hopefully one day we can see white colors on SBS.
  4. Does it have MHV decals.. If not, more than likely it is a LOAN. Just as 5236 was a LOAN than returned to MJQ the same evening.
  5. LMFAO. You are absolutely right tho. I would see this in my travels in Central and Northeast Bronx. But, Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. That's a first. Besides, NYCDOT are a bunch or crooks. Mismanagement of funds and a commissioner who completely doesn't understand drivers and riding public.
  6. The accuracy of this post is on point.. However, the only differences is that in Brooklyn. The B46 LTD went local after Avenue H to KP, B44 Limited went local after Avenue U to Emmons Avenue. Yes, limited service concept but with less stops with SBS. However, SBS hasn't done anything good in my opinion in Brooklyn. Bad enough TA orders new buses for Manhattan and Bronx since they are way more priority than Brooklyn. If you want premium service than premium buses need to be here and now, the folks of Sheepshead bay and points south Brooklyn are screaming at the heads of the MTA to possibly scrap the B82 SBS. Although some of the machines are being installed already there's plenty of opposition on this. Let's see where this goes?
  7. Quentin Road & East 16th. B2/B31 stop. Cheap. Real cheap.
  8. What are they going to do with the 1200's at MCH? (Rehab and send to the Bronx?)
  9. Honestly, from what I read that Grand Avenue artics would go to MQ. Whatever is left will be divided with the 2 depots.. TU for their batch and East New York for their batch. I'm confused... Another pilot for the XD60 order for next year? (Guess I need to refer to the first page of the fleet thread)
  10. I also skim through the article. Although I didn't see any mention of shifting the buses over to Avenue P between Ocean and West 6th, but progress is being made with everyone on the table talking about this. Hopefully SBS starts on time in July OR this could drag into 2019. Honestly, the more politicians that step in to talk with TA and DOT officials the better the dialogue of things could flow. Hopefully what you saying is true @Interested Rider but we wait!
  11. So shuttle overtime will be divided with the rest of the Brooklyn Division. Before you know it the rest of the attics can go to their original depots. They need to send 1 to East New York for training. I read somewhere not too long ago 6030 was at ENY training?
  12. Woodhaven/Cross Bay is pretty well regulated. Right now this is the best the has it from Elmhurst to Far Rockaway/Arverne/Rockaway Park. 52/53SBS definitely puts others to shame. Especially the Brooklyn/Bronx and Manhattan.
  13. 7285- Fresh Pond has Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi sticker on bus and decal on side pane on bus.
  14. Let the Grand Avenue to MJQ moves begin. Which could only mean this: days away before the XDE's pop up at Grand Avenue and also the Myrtle Viaduct construction project officially ending.
  15. I've already answered that question to the individual that asked about the MHV loaner. Yes, it's been discussed in great lengths in regards to the NO RTS at MHV Some love nostalgia. However, this is reality and there's no need for RTS at MHV
  16. Queens has the best BRT set up. You would think The Bronx with Pelham Parkway would have it. However, The Bronx and Brooklyn are tied for worse with SBS. The Manhattan crosstown aren't really bad. However, there are choke points on the route that suffer with traffic. I've heard that Staten Island-S79 is good. The S53/93 needs to be another candidate for SBS.
  17. Than its on loan. Can't see this being a permanent bus for MJQ.
  18. Does it have MHV decals? That's the bigger question?
  19. Mind you. If Queens could have SBS services till 2AM and their bus lanes pretty maintained. The rest of the city can have the same. The real SBS right now is the Q52/53 and Q44. Although there are some choke points along the routes. However, there are some green light priority along Woodhaven and some parts of Flushing. The is a 24/7 365 operation to where most routes end between 11:30PM and 1:00AM while others work all night intervals from 20 mins to 1 hour. There needs to be some formality when it comes to transit priority in this city.
  20. B44SBS: For someone like me who frequent this line I can tell you that there are extreme choke points along the route that need green light priority. The buses drive about 15 MPH, and that is no way to have a true BRT. From Fulton-Nostrand to the Junction bus lanes are not being enforced by NYPD and Traffic Enforcement. Also deliveries along Nostrand between Empire and Avenue D are still be affected with the short time frames they have to deliver goods and services. B46SBS: The underlying issue is Dollar Vans on the bus lanes. Both locations suffer from no priority green lights for buses. Everything is plagued with delays. Again, not enough police enforcement and deliveries along the route that are most hurting these 2 lines and the B82 will suffer the same fate.
  21. Modells just opened already. Within the last 2 weeks from the Kings Plaza location to E.16th-Kings Highway.
