  1. Hopefully, this could be the sign for full rear ads on the LFSAs too. Similar to what Philadelphia has. Also, the needs to explore the return of rear wraps for adversting revenue. Some of these ads repeat themselves every year. Vision Zero is one of those ads that repeat. Noticeably there are no 30x244 regular size, 30x244 king size or 30x215 ads yet for vision zero for any of the boroughs.
  2. Just spotted 2 East New York buses with double rear ad of Vision Zero. Only If I could get the picture uploaded. 7138 and another 71xx bus has it.
  3. Valid point.... can't even argue that and I'm in Brooklyn. East New York and Ulmer Park 4800's are definitely beaten up. #caseclosed.
  4. I thought all the buses from Grand Avenue should have left already for MJQ. Shuttle ended yesterday. Unless the rest of the fleet should be moving soon. Is GA making room for the 95xx buses that are coming in shortly?
  5. Here's my logic. I understand that Bronx Division (GH) (KB) artic routes travel excessive amounts of mileage. However, beating the buses to the ground is no excuse and possibly send those same buses to Brooklyn Division would be a utter disgrace.
  6. As of right now they will have 45xx and 46xx buses if the 42xx buses are being shipped. Remember, as others eluded that the 7300's are being demoted to local service. The 7300's plus the 7600's and the NG's Flatbush will have good average fleet
  7. Your guess is my guess sir. Staten Island Division likes newer fleet and NG's. Hope that answers the question.
  8. ..... and you wonder why Gun Hill gets the best buses than ruins them. The treats the Bronx Division first class. Those 1200's and 4700's they have shouldn't be running towards the ground. The same will go for the 54xx buses unless there's changes.
  9. You may be correct. Which would mean pushing the rest of the 42xx buses to Staten Island (YUK) from the looks of things.
  10. Noticed that 4229 also made the trip down to the island. Are these moves in preparation for the 76xx buses for SBS46+
  11. It's been said on here before that MJQ and MHV tend to do afternoon loans than return back to original depot. In this case 4122 is MJQ. Hope that answers the question. Carry on.
  12. Although I'm not a big fan of this blog.. However, it brings up the notion of enforcement of bus lanes in this article: https://nyc.streetsblog.org/2018/04/27/stringer-blocked-bus-lanes-are-stifling-select-bus-service/
  13. Number crunching. definitely hiding. Rush hour traffic is horrible on that GCP. Don't care how this information is being supplied. However, those numbers aren't accurate at all.
  14. There has been talk for a while that those filthy buses would make their way into Brooklyn. However, I see that it has died down a little. Yes, I agree with you @trainfan22 The Bronx definitely need to keep those right there. Something tells me that they will destroy the 54xx buses and watch those get shipped to Manhattan (MJQ, MCH).
  15. How about tweeting him about the issue and have him personally make a trip to that filthy depot. Since that depot is the real step child of the . Since they get the new of everything and ship all the other filth to the Brooklyn Division. Honestly, GH and KB could keep those 47xx buses right there in the Bronx. Sending those anywhere else will show that the maintenance is HORRIBLE.
  16. FINALLY!!!!!!!! These buses are getting ads. A new set of Vision Zero ads just came out yesterday. All divisions throughout the city will get a plethora of those ads on the rear of buses. Flatbush and Fresh Pond buses have already replacing their most oldest rear ads for the Vision Zero ads. Hopefully soon the can possibly go back to rear wraps with the RTS and NG's.
  17. As of Friday 4/27. Fulton Street bus lane begins. 7-10 AM. Downtown direction. 2-7PM reverse direction to Clinton Hill.
  18. Patience and prayer is essential. I'm also in the 9K range. Early 2019 at most for us 9K people.
  19. These MJQ/GH moves once again are wild fire. Hopefully GH trashes some of those D60's to the chop shop and get more from MJQ.
  20. Especially in Brooklyn. I feel the doesn't focus enough with Brooklyn service. I get that everything is Manhattan centered. However, when you have Brooklyn traffic resembling like Manhattan, and essential routes are being reduced left and right. One has to ask how will expanded routes and the routes that are already in service get POSSIBLE service increases rather than getting reduced and or discontinued.
  21. It's an ambitious plan. However, with all things do expect SOME bus cuts and POSSIBLE bus route eliminations. The network definitely needs to be expanded.
  22. An unprecedented move: Bus lanes are being installed between Ft Greene Place and Clinton Avenue in both directions on Fulton Street. Construction has begun effective Tuesday 4/17/18-4/20/18 resulting in loss of parking spaces during AM and PM rush hours. Bus lanes to be effective 4/23-Monday.
