  1. Unconfirmed what variant it is, but there’s an R211 hidden between PA5 trains at Yonkers Plant.
  2. According to NYCRail on twitter, a game studio is making a horror game about the mythical 76th St station. It looks cool as hell!
  3. I feel like there’s a lot of context to this that we are missing…
  4. I actually have a wild idea: Forget the crosstown or phases 3 & 4. Extend the into the Bronx following the right of way of the Harlem Line, and build the elevated right above the Harlem Line (essentially doing a bi-level) to Wakefield.
  5. Some good news out of this week; the 16 year old who operated the train has been arrested and charged with 5 counts, reckless endangerment, criminal tampering, criminal trespass, trespass and disorderly conduct. I believe one of these is a felony. https://pix11.com/news/local-news/boy-16-accused-of-driving-train-car-in-queens-nypd/?fbclid=IwAR2Iji1AVdICqSm_2Sr6pv25XXkBWU_h0vgdRdHTh72-I-_nASxdxQSMKWc
  6. Did someone put a curse on the subway? I'm sure NTSB won't be happy for getting called back a second time in less then a week.
  7. Somewhat unrelated but apparently there’s an derailment near West 8th St. What is going on?
  8. That's one of the reasons they pulled bustrek from being publicly accessible.
  9. Kinda shocked no ones brought this up; Earlier, the gov announced a re-direction of the future of SAS, instead of doing phase 3 to extend the SAS across 125th St as a new crosstown line to Broadway. There will be 3 new stops added. https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-hochul-announces-plans-expand-major-transit-projects-and-improve-roadway-safety
  10. Why don’t we allow customers to use the bottom luggage compartments?
  11. Back in 2020 when I had to go to EWR, I wanted to take one of the overnight BxM2's (that never had anyone on them) from Riverdale. Dude blew past my stop with a NIS sign up, I had to actually chase after him for a few blocks (thank god for the horrible timed lights on Riverdale Av) with luggage and a backpack until he finally pulled over and asked if I wanted the bus. His excuse was no one ever rides his trip and he thought I was waiting for the BxM1. Yeah right.
  12. I’m more concerned with the fact that Hillside Avs layups are all within active stations…and no one saw these kids playing with a train and thought “maybe I should call 911?”
  13. I’m confused as well. I thought the 67 was the 62 which is why I thought the 62 ran down to Toms River. For the 319, split it between Cap Ray and Atlantic City. There’s no reason for a bus to be that long.
  14. Right. I thought the 67 was the Newark Airport local bus but instead it's some bus from Toms River that's the local counterpart to the 139? They really need to redesign this bus system starting with the local routes. And for the love of MCI's, split that 319 already!!
  15. As you should. Don’t get in trouble for something like that. Me and you both know people have in the past for speaking on stuff like this.
  16. That’s insane. Does no one read the engineering documents before starting work??
  17. Random thought; NJT has way to many service patterns and variations for routes which is why the bus system is so confusing to riders. I mean, the 1 alone has like what, 10 different service patterns?
  18. Right, because QBL CBTC can't recognize a 5 car train but Culver CBTC can? What type of backwards engineering is that!
  19. Are you able to tell us what you've heard so far? Or is it company info only?
