  1. The Greenpoint Av portion would be discontinued. Now, I could instead have the Q1 split terminals between the two former B24 terminals, but then that's just being redundant.
  2. Excellent points. 1. The B3 ends at Cadman Plaza. 2. Thats my mistake, it is running via the Seneca Branch. 3. Yes, the Q1 is replacing portions of the B24 & B62 to create a crosstown route. I havent drawn it yet, but the B32 runs as a circulator route with the un-modified versions of the B62. 4. What is this B71+?
  3. Not surprised, the BxM4c has lost a good chunk of its ridership from COVID, especially with the midday trips.
  4. That's not my ENTIRE intention. I'm trying to better the network with better connectivity and better crosstown routes (see above for examples).
  5. Sounds like the transmission is lost in trying to find what gear to go into. If this was taken today, water from Ida probably messed with the gears.
  6. Progress #2: ROUTES: B1: Red Hook to DUMBO via Dwntn Bklyn. B2: Red Hook to Park Row/Manhattan via Dwntn Bklyn B3: Downtown Brooklyn to ENY (formerly B25). B4: Downtown Brooklyn to Myrtle-Wyckoff Av (formerly B38). (NOTE: B4 Local buses run only between Bushwick Av & Downtown Brooklyn days & evenings), B4 LTD buses run whole route.) Q1: 11th St (Queens) to Downtown Brooklyn via Division Av. Thoughts?
  7. Alright, I started from scratch. Anyone have any ideas, let me know! Pretty simple so far, the B38 hasn't changed (except for the Woodward branch being discontinued). The B51 is back and better then ever with a new number B85, with new service to Red Hook.
  8. I'm hearing the 60th St, 63rd St, and 59th tubes suffered major water damage, as well as the entire QBL line. I wouldn't be surprised if service dosent come back by tommorow.
  9. @B35 via Church Partially lol, but I'm trying to also be realistic. I offered for everyone to give me some ideas and no one did!
  10. I applied 8 times and never got a call or a denial letter. Idk about you guys, but this is no way to hire people...
  11. In our current political world thats how it has to be. I'm trying to be realistic with these plans, hence my decision to discontinue the B67 in exchange for the B77.
  12. Uhh, you sure about that? The Woodward branch is discontinued, and the B38 is merged with the Q55 to 121 St Subway.
  13. Resources and cost saving. Let's be honest, there's a lot of redundant service in Brooklyn that can be used somewhere else.
  14. So what do you recommend? In order for the B77 to exist, the B67 has to go or be altered. You could do a Bx4/Bx4A reduction like they did in the Bronx.
  15. The B16 carries air east of McDonald, this new LIMITED will serve more areas and have more connections to faster subway lines. If the B43 carries air east of Prospect, then that portion will be discontinued. The B67, how I see it, is basically a B69. No point in having duplicated service where it isn't needed, hence the entire route being discontinued. The B16 will serve more riders while also being a LIMITED, so it won't get in traffic as much. And it will terminate at Atlantic, away from all of the worse traffic conditions.
  16. I believe it was because RCC couldn't see where anyone was and were running blind basically. The and make no sense unless CBTC is regulated & controlled by the Rail Control Center, but QBL CBTC was up and running. I agree though, it was a stupid order and I don't know why they couldn't go off radio communication.
  17. Here we are with Proposal 2, notable changes: B16: Rerouted north of McDonald Ave, via former B67 routing to Atlantic Av, providing customers a one seat ride to many subway lines. Service runs limited north of 12th Avenue. B43: Extended from Prospect Park to Church Av , replacing former B16 portion. B57: Discontinued south of Downtown Brooklyn. B61: Discontinued between Red Hook & Prospect Park. B67: Discontinued entirely. B68: Replaced discontinued B61 portion between 15 St & Red Hook, providing C.I Av customers with a one seat ride to Red Hook Ferry terminal. B77: Replaces B57 between Dwtn Bklyn & Red Hook. Thoughts?
  18. Perfect! Although for the via, I would something similar to what luminator does where it's half size of the other letters.
  19. R142A interior: 242 ST via 7 Av-Bway LCL The Next Stop Is 137 St-City College 5:44 PM
  20. So I was watching videos from yesterday's power outage, and one thing has me confused. All the signals were still powered, so what exactly prompted the shutdown of the entire IRT? Was the tracking system not working?
