  1. Why is that? All of priorities are backwards right now. The can continue using the R46's until the option order comes in, send the first base order to Queens Blvd to bump out the R160's back to CI.
  2. Keep inquiring, don't make the same mistake I did where I sent one email and never followed up.
  3. I've said it before and I'll say it again, they should have waited to activate/install CBTC on Queens Blvd, especially when the pandemic was happening and ridership was low. They wasted all this time to swap cars around just to swap them back when the R211's come in. It just isn't common sense.
  4. Right? I was going to ask Via but he hasn't said anything in a while.
  5. Speaking of that, anyone else find it backwards how they'd rather put artics on the Amazon routes instead of the s79 which has more ridership and can actually accommodate it?
  6. Whats with the former Wayne D4000's bathrooms being locked?
  7. Don't get me started. The bikes are by far the worst, it's only a matter of time before drivers start suing the city for these ridiculous not needed bike + bus lanes.
  8. Simple, they run everyone off the road and act like they own the streets.
  9. Or...maybe we can not extend an already problematic and delayed line down 4th Av? If didn't go changing the entirety of the Broad St Line to only use one platform, the could've ran on the inner tracks.
  10. Guess I just have to learn how to use them. The buses I've driven before have retarder activate as soon as your foot leaves the accelerator.
  11. @46Dover what is with the brake on some of these NABI's? The brakes are horrible, you have to actually slam down on the pedal for it to notice...
  12. @+Young+ Just spoke with the exam unit as well as someone else, apparently the operator shortage is VERY bad within MTA Bus right now, you may be called as soon as you finish the test (depending on your list number). I was told after you submit the responses, you will be given the location to take the test and that it is FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED. The faster you get through the process the faster you get hired.
  13. Yup, give it like an hour or so. If you don't get it by tommorow morning, email the exam unit.
  14. If you applied for this position, chances are you got a voicemail earlier inviting you to take a Google Answer sheet about your permit status. After completing it, you are required to show up on Oct 23/24th for the test if you pass the pre-screening.
  15. Turns out it's for MTA Bus for the recent position that opened up. Your required to take the test on Oct 23/24th.
  16. I just got this voicemail, is it happening finally? This is New York City Transit calling BLANK, informing you that we have received your application for Bus Operator. An important email has been sent to you, with the next step in the process of obtaining a job as Bus Operator. You must answer the questions in the link sent to you as soon as possible. If you do not receive the email by tomorrow, please contact us at Examsunit@nyct.com.
