Unfortunately Chambers St can't qualify for ESI Because it is too big of a station and would take more than 6 months to renovate, Chambers St needs more of a $2.4 Billion renovation shutting down the entire station for 14 Months to rip everything out, waterproof, refurbish, install, and re-open.

Jesus Christ, I'd understand having 1 or 2 freinds joining him along, but a whole posse is just out the window. It is very disgraceful to see the MTA not pay attention to that, and I would be angry too seeing a Bus Operator rolling around with a Posse everytime I board his bus.

Fitst off, I am not defacating people with cars, second off when I mention Equal use of road space I am NOT NECESSARILY SUGGESTING BUS LANES, because anything can be shared on a roadway, may it be an extended sidewalk, bike lanes, HOV Lanes, and Bus Lanes IF APPLICABLE. I am not leaning to any side nor anyone here is, were just pointing out your problem with dissing everything that involves Bus Service Improvements because it will inconvenience those in cars. +SBS+ as is, is just a watered down BRT which is the DOT's fault for not wanting to make an isolated Busway, and not wanting to do away with these Curbside and Offset lanes, and I feel that future routes should be properly designed to be successful. You complain about the traffic but yet you fail to recognize there are too many cars on the roads, the amount of buses in MTA's fleet doesn't even make up a fraction of the total amount of cars in the U.S. you just use buses to promote your Pro-Car agenda to make your point in any way, shape or form match your Pro-Car views and Squeal in the forums to why any solution dealing with buses is wrong. You have no compassion to the daily commuter, I myself as one, and want to Prioritize Cars because the people riding a bus are Inferior and out of touch with society. If all your gonna do is Promote Car Propaganda, then this is the wrong forum for you, because it is called "New York City Transit Forums" for a reason.

You are here complaining about 2 minutes, you cannot compare a short crosstown route to a long bus route that actually is longer than a mile. You may see 2 minutes as minor, but it means more than what you think. Offboard payment is needed, as a daily commuter that relies on Public Transportation it isn't fun waiting on a long line for people to insert Quarters or dip MetroCards into a Farebox once at a time, Offboard payment is being used Globally, and not just in the MTA, offboard payment is actually one of the most needed things in a city with over 8 million people. No one expects +SBS+ to be the END of all the flaws, yes the system has flaws but can be fixed. +Selectbusservice is atleast an inefficient and available remedy into a problem ongoing, sometimes may solve the problem, sometimes partially, or not at all, but nothing will ever be perfect. Just because you own a car doesn't mean that you and your "Car Foes" have exclusive rights for a full width roadway, we need to balance roadway use and Bus riders also deserve a fighting chance, and instead of Fully blaming the MTA for +SBS+ Failures, why not blame the city or the Mayor for not putting a cap on Uber and Lyft vehicles, and allowing a soaring increase of those ridesharing services. You yet cannot get to recognize, despite what us Forum members have told you to understand that just because you have a different orientation in transportation doesn't mean you have to go out here in these forums defacating on Public Transportation to support and fix up your Pro-Car views and how Cars should deserve more priority than buses because "80%" of people own a car, while us Public transportation users are getting F****d over disgraceful traffic on a daily basis because too many cars on the road. Everyone deserves a fighting chance and I feel that there should be an Equal use of road space which is maintained by OUR TAXPAYER DOLLARS to provide efficient services to all means of transportation, and not just prioritize a single transportation method, because not everyone has the luxury to own a car, not everyone is interested in driving, not everyone has your type of income, not everyone can pay taxi's, and not everyone is at your level, so before you start defacating on Public Transit, think about how meaningful it is to the others who can't own a car or pay a taxi, and you as a Pro car person may find 2 Minutes useless, but in NYC it means more than what you think. So stop pretending to "Care for the rider" as an excuse to throw in your Pro-Car propaganda with intentions to make your point no matter what the circumstances are. Consider others.

It's very sad how people aren't able to take 1 SECOND OF THEIR PRECIOUS LIVES to actually STOP AND READ a simple sign that says "Pay Before Boarding the Bus." and then wonder why the hell did they get a $100 dollar fine. Like I sometimes feel like going "You Brainless @$$hole the instructions to pay are in your face!" And then they even simply ignore the sign on the Farebox that say "No Fares Collected Inside the Bus." And still dump the MetroCard in the Farebox, I have no sympathy for people who know how to read and later act that they didn't know, and honestly their balloni is what's screwing this country up. They think that by just victimizing themselves and running over to the media is going to stop everything they consider bad. Same people who ask for a free ride while we have to pay to take a ride and then deal with their BS. Taxpayer dollars going into transit filling up more than half of the necessary gap to pay for those freeby @$$holes. We need more enforcement involved with this issue, and people need to stop being a potato and damn take a second to get your face off the screen and read!

Yeah but in a city like New York you got narrow streets that can't accomodate bus lanes, if parking is taken away people complain even if it's rush hours only, Community opposition would shoot a plan with a single bullet, just like how Macy's shot down the 34th St Busway because it would interfere with their Thanksgiving day crap which is only once a year, Q44 only got bus lanes for a short section in Flushing because community opposed for loss of parking. Do not even get me started on the Road Block of NYC, Staten Island the most annoying borough in the city which is never conformed with anything. The @holes that shut off the Blue +SBS+ lights, the ones who made it a complete Satanary to add bus lanes on Hylan Boulevard, the ones who opposed off board payment on the S79 +SBS+, the one's who complained about an ADA Compliance alarm at a Bus Stop, the ones who begged for +SBS+ because they were feeling left out from the rest of NYC, as well as opposing off board payment even though it was required to do so to make the S79 real +SBS+ The ones who complained over a closing bridge that crossed from both sides of the SIR, the ones who find it offensive to repave a road without their own consultations. With that new school on White Plains Road and Bruckner Blvd, Complete HELL by the time it opens, and coincidentally a bus stop is right at the door of that new school. Bx36 is gonna skyrocket, hopefully we get all 5 XN60s testing to shorten the time that they'll be drafted into service and not a repeat episode of 673 - 677 where only 1 bus made it and the other sent back for months. The Bx36 needs an intermediate solution because the 2017 - 2018 School year is right around the corner and those buses get packed during the school year and March 2018 is 8 months away which is too long and honestly those buses look like sardine cans, 2 Months ago on my way home I was standing and holding myself next to a farebox because the bus was completely packed and this has been a known issue for YEARS, and there is no way something as simple as rotating the fleet to accomodate a route seems complicated as hell, if the Bx36 operates on a run based system (Local - Limited and vice versa) then restructure the runs to make accommodations and tweaks to the route, and your statement was like saying a D60HF on the Bx12 Local goes +SBS+ back. Bx12 Local and SBS are basically the same routes but their fleet is not interfering with both services on the route, same should be for the Bx36 LIMITED and Local, LIMITED with artics and Local with 40 Footers that simple it ain't rocket science, it just requires adjustments and reconfigurations of the route setup. Well if the problem is the setup of the run, then the runs on the Bx36 should be restructured to accomodate use of artics for the LIMITED, Garibaldi makes sense on this it is inexcusable that runs can't be restructured to accomodate them. If the Bx12 Local & SBS are treated as separate routes for Bus fleet accomodations then the Bx36 LOCAL and LIMITED should be treated as separate routes to make it work.
