  1. Not going to lie, but there are operators that are just ass-holes and shouldn't deserve to even seek a position as a public servant. I feel that everyone should take a share on +SBS+ routes and the upcoming route redesign, and that doesn't make a clusterf*ck of a system as we've seen with certain express routes in Staten Island.
  2. Yeah, I noticed Quill doesn't play with their XE40's. They've been sending them out on the M42 and M50 a couple of times... They should try them on the M66 and M72, performance on those 2 routes should be quaint.
  3. I can tell he find Bus Operators as Hostile Führer's that have no equivalent Importance in their jobs day in and day out. He has also made subtle references about them not having common sense, how obscene and immature that is? Like the double standard and Hypocrisy is so clear.
  4. I am curious to know, since you are a Bus Operator at Flatbush and you just began operating the B44 +SBS+ that uses Nova Bus LFSA's, when the 2019 XD60's (If you plan to stay on the B44 +SBS+) arrive will you have to be trained on them or are you already qualified to operate it.
  5. I never said that the public should not know about the problems with +SBS+. Of course we need to, we're the one's paying $2.75 for bus service, but it doesn't mean that they should just be told that +SBS+ is outright shit. Customers want to know what makes the routes or the program ineffective and the reason is poor planning and incompetent leadership, but that is a point that is barely made across because the only thing that's in the scope is nothing but the service itself. If you claim that almost no one had any problems with you, but if that were the case there wouldn't be any cats and dog fights every year with people in the forums. You are now talking about that if it were up to Bus Operator's they'd take the lightest utilized routes, but those are the front line workers that sometimes have to even sacrifice their lunch break in order to be able to make it to a terminal 1 hour or more late because of traffic. Those same Bus Operators have the balls to choose the heaviest routes during every pick and deal with the conditions outside. You don't deal with the conditions that Bus Operators deal with, probably if you were behind the wheel 1+ hour past your lunch break, and with an added run time it would become hell for what they currently deal with. It's not 1980, the traffic situation has gotten worse, and the city's infrastructure is too old and was never built to deal with modern day traffic leaving us to work things out with what we have. You know how the is and their nature of not listening. You're no longer an employee there, they will no longer regard your concerns, yapping about the B44 +SBS+ to KCC on the Forums won't make it happen, we aren't councilmen. With an +SBS+ pilot of the new Fare Payment system in November 2019 and possible rollout in the following year, The wouldn't want to have the DOT drill all the way to light poles in order to waste money on machines that probably won't even be around for a year... For the current struggles of the B44 +SBS+ I will leave that for an operator to elaborate and tell you about their day doing runs on the route.
  6. Not to cause any harm here, but what I have been seeing lately has been too much clashing because of +SBS+ not only with B35 via Church, but with many others who have now as I have refrained from commenting in this conversation because either we will be shamed for our opinions, or what we say will make us look like dumb@sses... If you have multiple people disagreeing with your proposal then you should stop championing things through, it won't work. #1 the B44 is already long as it is, #2 People are fine with what they have now. No one can lie about tweaks and adjustments that are needed to be made, but it's already been 1 f*cking year where the same song plays again and again when something +SBS+ related comes up here. Every time something +SBS+ comes up it is bashed, butchered, sliced, and killed. The answer we get is that +SBS+ is just downright shit, that's not an answer that we the public want. We want to know why the routes are terrible, and what are the problems individually. There are +SBS+ routes that are a success (Bx41) and others just a complete failure (M34/A), we all know the reasons why. Bashing, Insulting, and putting words in people's mouths is not going to help make your point at all, everyone's opinions and decisions shall be respected just as we respect each other. Sometimes we forget that no matter what our differences and disagreements are, that were all human as a human can be, but someone here makes it intolerable to even want to speak here anymore. I have tried to avoid commenting on this conversation for a while, but when you get to a point where almost everyone here has a problem with BrooklynBus there has to be a stop. I agree with B35 via Church, it's time to cut the crap already and stop the nonsense, stop perfecting the image and admit that you made a mistake even if it's once. No one is going to die in here if you do. It's just a Bus Route with a different Branding and a different style of operation.
  7. Found it, its lower and it was kinda hidden at first. The seats look very nice btw...
  8. So with the a limited amount of artics at this point, is there an option order for the XN60's and will the Bx36 be able to have just enough to be fully articulated? Sorry for bothering.
  9. So how about the Bx12 +SBS+, it runs into Manhattan.
  10. The Bx46 serves the non existant crowds of Hunts Point, as well as scrap and body work shops... Those mechanics have more parts than what they need. 😂
  11. As a song in "The Lorax" says, "Let it die, let it die, let it shrivel up and die!"
  12. Oh the small signs on the LFSA's is just a glitch on Luminator's part. They have been resolving it though.
  13. I am serious. They literally talk about Improving and simplifying communication, but if they can't even get the basics right (Programming a sign) let alone actual communication with us the customers. Not only customers go through hell of miscommunication, but its employees as well. I have even heard T/O's and C/R's fighting around which line up they are supposed to get, while Dispatch makes a Jiu Jitsu over giving a line up first, then something else later. Things have been improving in the past months, but those practices have to extend even further to the point where people can put 2 and 2 together and figure it out. There's one operator that I didn't report because I felt bad for him getting in trouble but, tell me how he pulled in his bus as a Bx27 To Clason Point at W Farms, and after making a left at E 167 St he changed it to a Bx35 To Washington Heights WITHOUT NOTICE. Everyone in the bus got off and walked back to W Farms Road, MISSING A Bx27, just departing. Luckily we all got transfers. He realized that he just f*cked up and should had changed his sign before letting passengers on..
  14. Version 1.0.0

    3 downloads

It is a PDF Sheet detailing service changes on a few routes as well as Bx6 local articulation.
  15. How would you expect the B46 to be articulated back in a time where there weren't sufficient resources, and ridership to Justify your point. The high ridership has met the guidelines in these last 5 years, and partially articulating the route is the best option at this point. Things can't be done when wanted, it is when it is possible and there is enough resources and commitment to do so.
  16. Jesus Christ, they seriously don't even know what in the f*ck they want to do with buses anymore...
  17. Who in the hell programs the Destination signs for 's Buses? Do those people even live in NYC? There are several mistakes with a few routes like for example Instead of Bx40 VIA TREMONT AV It currently is Bx40 VIA TREMOUNT AV another example is Instead of Bx35 WEST FARMS ROAD It currently is Bx35 W EST FARMS ROAD Its not like their computers have auto correct or something right?
  18. There will be enough. The XN60 Order will have WF with more artics than prior, and the Bx6 local wouldn't need any more than 10-11 Buses during peak hours, especially with the frequencies being split with the Bx6 +SBS+, mind that the Bx6 is a short 4 mile route requiring less buses than the Bx36. You may also note that WF will still keep their LFSA's and be receiving a few more from a couple of Manhattan depot's to kill off the remaining D60HF fleet.
  19. The raising of the Bridge has nothing to do with Performance. The roadway was raised in a measured way, its not steep nor has to do with Vehicle performance.
  20. Whats with XD40 7668 and the New York City Bus label? I thought the new scheme buses weren't going to have that anymore.
  21. How the hell do you even trust riding in a dollar van? God forbid those never maintained old vans lose their brakes, or criminals are abducting people, or robbing in those unsafe vehicles. I would never ride on illegal, unregistered, profit hungry, unsafe vehicles. Never would I put my life, or my family's life in danger.
  22. Who the hell in their right state of mind be capable of riding in a Dollar Van, not just only risking their life, but in danger of being abducted by god knows the person driving that thing.
