That is because the downtown is using a yard track in 180 Street yard since the normal southbound track is OOS. The slower speeds cause some (2)s to be rerouted to Harlem-148 Street.
42 Street-Times Square IRT has an exit to 42, but the station is note even UNDER 42 Street. In fact, none of the Times Square stations are under Times Square proper.
A PATCO car is 67 feet and I would say the section between Haddonfield and Woodcrest is the best. It is a nice long stretch and the train gets a lot of speed! So if anyone is planning on transitfanning Philly, be sure to ride PATCO (and not just the BFB!)
