    I hear you. I'm really in no rush to ride one since I'm not in UP territory. If this was like 6-7 years ago or so, I would have rode one by now.

    That is because the downtown is using a yard track in 180 Street yard since the normal southbound track is OOS. The slower speeds cause some (2)s to be rerouted to Harlem-148 Street.

    I like the windows that open at the top better since a lot of air does not blow on me.

    The lower level is the 3rd Avenue line. It turned on Gun Hill, then went down Webster, similar to the Bx55 before cuts.

    42 Street-Times Square IRT has an exit to 42, but the station is note even UNDER 42 Street. In fact, none of the Times Square stations are under Times Square proper.

    I like the IRT because they have those countdown clocks.

    I just remember it from the early-mid 90s. It was probably taken down when the station was rehabbed.

    You still have no choice but to use a pay phone in that station lol.

    I know the tower at the upper level still has the traditional IND tiles. You can see a glimpse of it when the or leaves 5 Avenue.

    I thought 5 Avenue/53 Street had the traditional IND tiles. Was that pic during renovation?

    City View Pizza on Spring Garden Street and 16 Street in Philadelphia.

    A PATCO car is 67 feet and I would say the section between Haddonfield and Woodcrest is the best. It is a nice long stretch and the train gets a lot of speed! So if anyone is planning on transitfanning Philly, be sure to ride PATCO (and not just the BFB!)

    I would say Manhattanville too. All 3 Bronx depots are a mess.
