  1. When someone bashes on Celeron processors, I automatically assume they don't know anything about tech.

  2. So for anyone that is bored, Twitch is streaming Bob Ross episodes and watching the chat go nuts is very amusing.

  3. Chances are, depending on the package itself and service the customer uses, UPS and/or FedEx actually drops it off for USPS to take over. So even with the extra money, USPS is still delivering your package...depending of course. On top of that, most Post Office's LAST truck to leave is around 5PM on Friday. Rarely on Saturday it'll leave, thankfully my office makes the trip. Also if your seller dropped it off on the weekend and it states it's there on Friday, it doesn't actually mean it's been shipped. It may mean the Post Office acknowledges of a package that's going to be handled there.
  4. Another day, another dollar.

  5. B44-SBS machines forever broken or off at Avenue U.
  6. My layout as of last month. Still waiting for my Windows 10 update.
  7. I don't know about that, I feel like I've seen worse complaints compared to this one. Though this is definitely up there in the lists.
  8. Don't get me wrong, I'm not intentionally avoiding to pay (I have to pay regardless when I hop on the at Flatbush, it's just our machines are a hit or miss when it comes to being on and working.
  9. On a daily week, what's the chances of being stopped to see if you have an SBS ticket on hand? My stop's machines have been broken or just off during odd hours. Some passengers and I have been pretty much just getting on without the ticket and getting off for the ticket at the next stop then get back on. I would call about it being broken or off but every time coming back from work, the machines are on and working. (B44-SBS)
  10. The force used on these kids may have been a little too much, but what do you expect when a cop tells you to stay put but you yell and resist and try to run away? Even if you know you're not doing anything wrong, I wouldn't want to deal with the bullshit that may come if I tried to resist in that type of situation. Which is why whenever I get pulled over for something I know I didn't do, I just take the summons/ticket and fight it afterwards or politely plead my case while at the stop.
  11. When you become a parent, you''ll understand their concern.

  12. Another day...another dollar.

  13. The only difference of 7-zip and Winrar is that 7-zip is free and Winrar is technically not. It also depends on the file you are compressing, it some cases Winrar slightly beats 7-zip. In cases of smaller files, you'll only see a difference of a few kilobytes between the two compression software. Also if you only deal with Windows, you'd ideally just use 7-zip since it doesn't work on Mac or Linux.
  14. SMH @ people trying to say it's NOT a racial thing yet they still put "BLACKLIVESMATTER". Like are you for real? You've just contradicted everything in that hashtag.

  17. No one hates you, I'd say people have becoming more straight-forward and blunt with their answers/responses which is good in a way.
  18. Just amazed that they really relayed that at 34th Street to go back uptown during rush hours.
  19. So today was pretty hectic, my usual hour commute became a little over 2 hours. At Columbus Circle, a was sent down 6th Avenue (originally to W4 and continue it's normal route. But heard from the T/O and dispatch that the was relayed back uptown at 34th Street. My arrived on the express track then idled at 42nd Street for probably 15 minutes or so. An was held at 42nd when we left, a with the first car with one door open was sitting at the end of the 34th St platform while another was sitting at 34th. Was thinking to get off the and take the but it was so jammed packed I ditched that idea (which I regret). Ugh. I should have just taken the express bus home. LOL
  20. Well my usual hour commute home turned into a 2 1/2 hour commute.

  21. To the person who saw the at High St and didn't know where they would go, I would assume that something happened that sudden and they wanted to and a smooth flow of traffic and just re-routed without acknowledging destination. Though, there was one incident that occurred and a went down the Culver, I think it just terminated at CI though.
  22. There was a set on the on Friday, saw it between 34 and 14 when I was on the .
  23. The moment when the "Subway" random topic thread veered into a bus discussion for a tad bit.

  24. Replaced it myself, for my car I just had to take apart the A-pillar and boom perfect fit, replace A-pillar, replace cover.
  25. There has to be at least 5 different topics in that N/R switched thread.

Can we have a topic split? Normally it is one where we want a merge, but lol, this has so many ideas. That or change the name to Brooklyn IRT Proposals (then again, merge with the Subway Proposals thread).
