EE Broadway Local Posted February 20, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 20, 2010 Nice looking late nights service map. Late nights you have the running as a shuttle between Euclid Avenue and a new 125th Street terminal on Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park and the running 179th Street in Jamaica to 18th Avenue in Brooklyn? Nice that you gave Hollis her first subway station at 188th Street and Hillside Avenue with the serving the terminal.
CenSin Posted February 20, 2010 Share #3 Posted February 20, 2010 Wait... The and the makes no sense. You're going to have to hold trains up at 71 Avenue and 75 Avenue so the and can swap tracks. And considering it's late night, why is the even running such a long route (with an express portion too) while service along 4 Avenue has been made so conservative? Forest Glen Posted February 20, 2010 Share #4 Posted February 20, 2010 West End riders won't be happy with the return of the West End late night shuttle I don't understand how the and are sharing tracks in the Bronx Other than that excellent map. mark1447 Posted February 22, 2010 Share #12 Posted February 22, 2010 Love it! Especially the heading to the Bronx, why not extend to Co-Op city since thers no subwyas up there except the at GH/Baychester and at Pelham Bay which requires bus or 20min walk around Also the wont mix well with the since its cars is different, unless the was converted to B div car, but wont do ether since other lines would have to follow. Or convert the to IRT cars with ramps or something.

West End Posted February 23, 2010 Share #14 Posted February 23, 2010 I like the and the to the Bronx ideas. Maybe connect the at Atlantic-Pacific to the (? 4 Ave needs more, and a West End Shuttle is just painful...
E Local Posted March 15, 2010 Author Share #15 Posted March 15, 2010 the new late night map is coming soon. im still working on it. if you go to this thread: http://www.nyctransitforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17283&page=5 you will see the stuff I still have to add. Maybe connect the at Atlantic-Pacific to the (? 4 Ave needs more, and a West End Shuttle is just painful... Agreed, the Q 'shuttle' is kinda pointless. That late at night people don't want to wait longer for transfers. That's why despite the Q being on Brighton [shafting 6th Av riders at Dekalb - unless the D switches over to the local tracks] the West End has 24-7 service to Manhattan. Finally: If anything Sea Beach should be the shuttle and West End be the full time line as I would think there are more riders along West End. Otherwise it's a nice map.
