"A 15-year-old Florida girl is in a medically-induced coma after being brutally beaten by a 15-year-old boy, an incident that allegedly stemmed from a text-message exchange.

 

Wayne Treacy was reportedly trying to reach his ex-girlfriend -- 13-year-old Kayla Manson, who didn't have a text-message-enabled phone -- through her friend, Josie Lou Ratley. Treacy allegedly became enraged after Ratley reportedly told him that she didn't approve of the relationship and made disparaging remarks about Treacy's brother, who'd committed suicide last year, the Today show reports."

As for this story, again, this crap will never surprise me here in the USA, or anywhere else. Thing is, other places might have a harsher penalty. Here, we have freedoms, and when people mess up, we really don't have a system to deter. Either house them, with plenty of food, and places to work out, or just execute them..........

 

I bet being stripped naked, and getting a public beating with a whip, in the middle of Time Square would curb alot of this mess. But it ain't happening here.........
