Harry Posted April 6, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2010 Welcome to the official Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North Railroad trivia thread. This thread basically works the same as the rapid transit and surface transit trivia threads. Long Island Rail Road/Metro-North Railroad Trivia Guidelines: One question from one railroad at a time from one member at a time. Absolutely no multiple choice questions. This is not an exam. No questions about "How many M7's are in the fleet?" or "What do yo do at this kind of signal?". Those are not trivia questions. Let's get some historical facts and figures of the railroad. Please make sure the answers to your questions are clear and concise. For example, In what year was the Long Island Rail Road Company originally chartered? Answer, 1834. There is no other answer to this question. Excessive abuse of the guidelines will result in the removal of a user from this thread
