Guest lance25 Posted January 18, 2011 Share #61 Posted January 18, 2011 Buses. Based on the scenario Iamthe1 posted, the Broadway line would be out of commission for 2 to 3 years. It's not like last weekend where the Astoria line could run a shuttle and all would be good. Those cars have to be serviced every now and again and they wouldn't be able to get to Coney Island or any other B Division yard because of the isolated line. R160 Posted January 18, 2011 Share #64 Posted January 18, 2011 Jamaica Yard via the 60 Street tunnel connection. Assuming that Lex to Whitehall doesn't include the tunnel, then I guess that it would work although it would be somewhat tedious.

Since no thru traffic is allowed you really can't do much. I'd have some or run local though. Thankfully, most of the major stations along Broadway can be accessed by another line.
