Joel Up Front Posted January 26, 2011 Share #3 Posted January 26, 2011 Weren't you the guy that made that godawful 12-9 topic last week? There's nothing wrong with this site. Look at all the MTA personnel on here already... not to mention the growing number of MTA Bus Company operators.
IRT Bronx Express Posted January 26, 2011 Share #4 Posted January 26, 2011 It's possible that this guy wants to share 12-9 pics to all transit employees through his Google Groups. As if they'll buy that... I mean, the thread title here says everything.
East New York Posted January 26, 2011 Share #5 Posted January 26, 2011 What about MTA Bus Co. employees?
Transitworkertruth Posted January 26, 2011 Author Share #6 Posted January 26, 2011 My Google Group has absolutely nothing to do with 12-9 photos. I owned up to the mistake and beating a dead horse is senseless. The Google Group is just to keep members informed as to what shenanigans John samuelsen is up to. It gives members a chance to keep up on internal politics nothing more.
Eric Posted January 26, 2011 Share #7 Posted January 26, 2011 You're already on shaky ground after the pair of 12-9 posts; now might not be the time to advertise something else.
Transitworkertruth Posted January 26, 2011 Author Share #8 Posted January 26, 2011 Since you are a relatively new member to NYCTF just like me I will ignore your silly comment. I already admitted the first 12-9 photo posting was a mistake and apologized to Harry and the board accordingly in 12-9 Photos posting #2. Most NORMAL people accepted my apology. If you choose not to it makes no difference to me because it was not sent to a rookie member. It was sent to the veteran posters on this board. IRT Bronx Express Posted January 26, 2011 Share #9 Posted January 26, 2011 It was sent to the veteran posters on this board.Didn't you originally say, in the deleted thread, that you wanted to exchange 12-9 photos with transit employees here? You didn't mention that you sent the photos to "veteran posters" until now.

EE Broadway Local Posted January 26, 2011 Share #11 Posted January 26, 2011 I think Transitworkertruth is referring to the apology he extended to members, IRT Bronx Express and not the 12-9 photos that he owns. It, admittedly, was a bad decision, but he accepted why the thread was removed and extended an apology. Now he's just reiterating the offer to become a member of his Google Transit Group that he extended in his introduction post. Apparently, the group is for T.A. and MaBSTOA employees only. I think the thing to keep in mind is that NYC Transit Forums isn't affiliated with the M.T.A. and attracts not only transit employees but transit fans between the ages of 13 and 100. It's nice that Harry, Zach, and East New York do offer a Transit Careers Forum. Didn't you originally say, in the deleted thread, that you wanted to exchange 12-9 photos with transit employees here? You didn't mention that you sent the photos to "veteran posters" until now.
Harry Posted January 26, 2011 Share #12 Posted January 26, 2011 Alright guys he apologized. Let's just forget about it and move on. Please guys.
CTK246 Posted January 26, 2011 Share #13 Posted January 26, 2011 Indeed, forgive and forget...
MattTrain Posted January 26, 2011 Share #14 Posted January 26, 2011 I agree with Harry, the user apologized and got a warning for it so we should stop bugging him. If he kept up with that he would have been banned by now, but he's not so let's forgive him and move on.

INDman Posted January 26, 2011 Share #17 Posted January 26, 2011 Ok, now back to my question. What about MTAB guys? You should include them too...... But he's a TWU shop steward. I don't think anyone in MTA Bus is a member of TWU.
Noflexdont Posted January 26, 2011 Share #18 Posted January 26, 2011 Some MTA bus depots are TWU 100 while others are not.
East New York Posted January 27, 2011 Share #19 Posted January 27, 2011 But he's a TWU shop steward. I don't think anyone in MTA Bus is a member of TWU. There are 5 TWU 100 MTA Bus Co. depots. None of the NYCTA Queens or SI depots are TWU. I asked him about Bus Co. because 5 of the 8 depots are all local 100. If his group is truely for ALL Local 100 members, then MTAB should be included. I think his site would have greater visability if he reached out to all NYCT employees, and all local 100 guys. Just my ¢.

Why is the advertising of his site allowed here.... and what's all this talk about 12-9 pics; did this dude really post pictures of that nature on here ????? It's ok for people to promote their transit sites here for the most part, and yes to the 12-9 question, but that has already been taken care of.
