9143-9144-9145-9146-9147-9148 all delivered recently over the last two-three weeks. 9077-9078 finally in service since mid July or so. 9130s are in a single test train. 9134-9133 seems to be leading pair east. Saw a test train myself two weeks ago in Jamaica. 9133-9134-9113-9114-9135-9136-9131-9132 I believe. It's 6 cars now however.

9113-9114 thrown into service last week. 9133-9134 thrown into service this morning on train #2401. Tests continue with other cars daily. Still waiting service entry of 9013-9014-9081-9082-9093-9094-9095-9096-9103-9104 in lower numbered cars. Anything 9109-up remains testing as they go into service pair by pair

In the past week, we have seen two additional pairs pressed into service. 9135-9136 last week and 9115-9116 on 1623 this morning. 9111-9112 and 9153-9154 seem to be running the most recent ends of the test train. Arch street training continues as they expect to be accepting more cars in the coming weeks/months with more employees added. The new goal is to have all 202 cars in service by April which is a very tight point to reach.

I read your last posts wrong because I already thought those two sets were in service.

Now the following should be a bit more accurate (not sure if 9149-9150 or anything higher have been delivered yet):

9001-9012, 9017-9080, 9083-9092, 9097-9102, 9105-9110, 9113-9118, 9123-9124, 9133-9136, 9139-9142 (116 cars) are all in service.

9013-9016, 9081-9082, 9093-9096. 9103-9104, 9111-9112, 9119-9122, 9125-9132, 9137-9138, and 9143-9148 (32 cars) are still testing.

9149-9202 (54 cars) are still pending delivery.

That April goal is NOT happening. I say by the end of summer earliest (Aug 2022).

I've been seeing that set testing to Penn Station as of late. I saw it last week at Woodside as I was walking down the stairs to catch my train to Jamaica. Also saw that set chilling at Track 16 in Penn Station on another occasion.

9166-67 is delivered and should be in the testing phase by now.

All sets start with an odd number. So if you saw 9166, it was 9165-9166, if you saw 9167, it was 9167-9168.

All sets have been coming in consecutive order so we can assume at least 12 cars after 9148 are delivered.

Quite a few updates as of today: #1, 9150s have begun service entry as of this morning beginning with pair 9153-9154 leading express train #2109 from Ronkonkoma to Penn station. #2, went to Jamaica the other day and found the most recent test train consist. The arrangement is 9151-9152-9013-9014-9165-9166. Not sure why 9013-9014 is still in there almost four years later.... #3: we are up to 9184 at the Kawasaki factory in Yonkers. Nearing completion with the order. #4: rumors that the M9 assembly line has been taken down as production is allegidly finished. #5: another pair unknown was delivered a day or two ago

As we can see, that April goal was not happening. I don't even think my August prediction will be accurate with the M9 delays.

New outlook is December of this year for the last cars based on the CPOC meeting for this month. Continuing to work out issues with workmanship etc. highest car on property seems to be 9184 at Arch street as of this morning. No new cars have been pressed into service since February. Plenty of test trains do continue to run daily however. They also took delivery of two more pairs bringing us to 126 M9s and 116 M3s. Yes, they have finally outnumbered….

Man these M9s....I see why they are severely delayed and are going through such rigorous testing. These trains do NOT feel sturdy on the tracks anymore. When I first rode them Fall 2020, I was on 9053 on the Babylon and it was smooth like butter. I'm currently on 9076 and it feels like the train is gonna pop off the tracks, why is this car swaying so much!? Like damnn its like the other cars are keeping it on the tracks. Other passengers and I all looked up and around like wtf and then we relaxed when it came back to normal, but still this car is really rocking too much for my liking.

Lack of maintenance, simple.

I ended up leaving the car, the car was swaying left and right too abruptly between Hicksville/Mineola. I love trains and even I was a bit paranoid, funny how that car only had like 15 people and the other surrounding cars had 30+. I don't get why all the conductors don't report these issues, they see any flaws better than anyone else. I'm sure that wasn't the first day it was rocking that extreme, so that set should've been out of service.
