Wallyhorse Posted January 10, 2017 Share #5474 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) Bringing the following over from the "Here's why your commute sucked this morning" thread that was started Monday: you are literally the only person I am aware of claiming 20 minute headways during rush hour. Are we pushing the "delays are a fabrication to enact sub-rosa service cuts" narrative? Is that what you're getting at here? We can play a different game, open to all: 6th avenue line has power cut on all four tracks at W4. It's 8:30 am Monday. Assume the following headways: A: 8 TPH B: 6 TPH C: 6 TPH D: 8 TPH E: 15 TPH F: 15 TPH M: 6 TPH Track says it will be at least 90 minutes until the power is back on. Go for it. Dispatch your trains. Here we go: runs local between 145th and 168th Street run to 34th Street-6th Avenue and back to Bedford Park Boulevard is diverted to The Bronx and runs to 205th Street to replace the there runs via the and then between Atlantic-Barclays and 96th Street-2nd Avenue, where it terminates is split up as follows: Some trains run from 179th Street-34th Street via normal route and terminate thereSome trains run from Coney Island to 2nd Avenue or Delancey Street. Some trains run from Coney Island to 179th Street via the Crosstown Line(I assume the connections to 8th Avenue at West 4th from 6th Avenue would be out) is extended to 71st-Continental runs via Nassau to Chambers Street trains from 71st-Continental run to 34th Street-6th Avenue ONLY!Any extra trains that would normally go to 96th Street-2nd Avenue are diverted to the Jamaica Line and run to 71st-Continental.
