Turbo19 Posted October 25, 2012 Share #251 Posted October 25, 2012 When I saw it, I remember it being very shiny like you say. It may well be paint, and forgive me if I said wrapped, but I report these buses as I drive down Northern Blvd every day. I don't have the chance to look closely at whether or not its wrapped or painted, so I really don't know anymore whats wrapped and whats not. I heard they were painting some of the buses where the new wrap was falling off, some of the 1700s. Are you planning to differentiate which buses are wrapped and which ones are painted, as well as which ones have the stripe and which ones don't? Guess more colors are needed on the chart then! Italics for paint?

User Posted November 4, 2012 Share #253 Posted November 4, 2012 1798 is painted. They painted more than they should have I don't think its too much, and its better than the crappy wrap they use thats already peeling off.

Just some spots look a tad more colorful than others. Edited November 4, 2012 by Q23 Central Terminal
User Posted November 5, 2012 Share #255 Posted November 5, 2012 (edited) I can confirm 1789 as well has been PAINTED not wrapped and the numbering is kinda script font, its not the normal font you see on the other buses. I thought NICE didn't have the capital to afford paint.

User Posted November 8, 2012 Share #258 Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) 1736 is in NICE livery. I didn't look close enough to tell if its wrap or paint. The numbers were in scripty italic though. Edited November 8, 2012 by Brett

User Posted November 14, 2012 Share #261 Posted November 14, 2012 (edited) Can we please get an updated chart on the wrapped buses? I'm curious to see what we have left to spot. And if you see ANY buses where the numbers on the buses are italics, the bus is PAINTED (except for 1840 and up which are excluded). Please try to distinguish between the two. BM5 via Woodhaven Posted November 14, 2012 Share #264 Posted November 14, 2012 What's with 1791? I'm guessing stripe removed and now painted
User Posted November 14, 2012 Share #265 Posted November 14, 2012 I'm guessing stripe removed and now painted Oh yeah, with 1791 now painted, the blue stripe isn't there anymore. NICE is making true progress now. Hopefully, they decide to paint all the buses eventually and dump the wraps altogether.

Joel Up Front Posted November 15, 2012 Share #267 Posted November 15, 2012 If they were truly progressing, 1820 and 1833 would have been repainted well before Sandy hit.

User Posted December 8, 2012 Share #273 Posted December 8, 2012 1743: (I think this is paint) Yea, it most likely is paint because the numbers are italicized too which you usually see on painted buses.
Joel Up Front Posted December 9, 2012 Share #274 Posted December 9, 2012 1746 repainted.
Amtrak7 Posted December 15, 2012 Share #275 Posted December 15, 2012 Do all wrapped buses have the white stripe on top of the bus (bottom of CNG tank) and all painted buses all orange?
