Part Suspended

There is no (A) train service between 181 St and Inwood-207 St.

Expect a longer wait for a (A)(C) train in both directions.

Our crews are removing water from the tracks near Dyckman St.

The last stop on northbound (A) trains is 181 St where they will be turned for southbound service.

For alternate service between 181 St and Inwood-207 St, consider taking a Bx7, M100 or Bx3 bus.

Delays

Some southbound (B)(D) trains end at ‌2 Av‌ on the ‌(F) line.

Some southbound ‌(B)(D) trains run via (F) from W 4 St to Coney Island-Stillwell Av.

We are investigating a train with a malfunction at ‌Grand St‌.

For service to/from bypassed stations, take a northbound train.

What they didn't say:
There are some (N) trains that ran along West End to cover (D) trains as well as some (D) trains running via 8 Av. Apparently there were 4 (B) trains that were backed up around Grand St from what I heard, no mentions of any (D) trains (figures since I always see more (B)'s running around).

Didn't know the (MTA) ran the (D) along Astoria lol, common mistake most people aren't going to pay attention to anyway.

There was no local service along Lexington Avenue north of 14th Street earlier today because of a bicycle on the tracks at 51st Street. Initially reported as a train with mechanical problem, so it's likely the train ran over it and/or got stuck somewhere.

All (6) trains were running express in both directions north of 14th, and some (5) trains were rerouted via the (2) in Manhattan.

How is the B68 an alternative?

Take the B68 bus for service between these two stations.

Southbound (N)(Q) ends at Kings Hwy.

(N)(Q) trains are delayed in both directions while FDNY responds to a track fire near Coney Island-Stillwell Av.

Trains are in close proximity with each other right now at Borough Hall, I'm assuming to try and let passengers off so they can transfer over to the (2) and (3).

So this turned out to be because a group of four robbers were trying to get away from police, and one of the dudes falls between the train and touches the third rail. Dude is dead, the others were caught.

Tragic. Talk about getting royally f**ked:

Multiple Changes

(E)(F)(M)(R) trains are running with major delays in both directions.

While delays subside, avoid these lines and take 7 trains, LIRR trains, or local buses.

What Happened?

We addressed a network communications problem in Queens.

Changes to Service

(M) trains have resumed service between Delancey St-Essex St and Forest Hills-71 Av in both directions.

Some trains may still end early to avoid congestion:

Some northbound trains will run on the (C) line from 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal to 168 St, the last stop.

The last stop on some northbound (F) trains will be 21 St-Queensbridge.

Some northbound (R) trains are running on the (Q) line from 57 St-7 Av and 96 St, the last stop.

Alternatives

LIRR will accommodate MetroCard holders at no additional charge at Penn Station, Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, and Jamaica.

Consider taking (7) trains and Q60 buses on Queens Blvd.

Posted: 09/19/2022 11:36AM

Part Suspended

(7) trains are not running between Hunters Point Av and 34 St-Hudson Yards while FDNY investigates a report of smoke near Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av.
