I know I took this and the Security exam in 2018 and I haven't gotten either results back. My TO list number is in the early 4K which means I'm never getting called and Conductor is 28K so I know I'm NEVER getting called. Man... this wait is almost like income tax time LMFAO

Thanks ! ....

Wait a minute am i reading this correctly, i scored 98.75 ( 1 wrong ) and my list number is excellent ( 12x ).

I really thought my list number would be more like 85x +. This is amazing !

Now hopefully they actually start calling names from this list so i can get out of my current job lol, i am so ready to go ! Also still waiting on my second pre employment for T/O list number 18xx, but i think i would prefer trackwalker over train operator.

Thanks! With a score of 92.5, my list number for this particular exam is 2,2**, so it'll be a while before they get to me.

What's interesting to note is that, if you play around with the site, in particular the list numbers, there are only 9,170 people on this list, compared to about 12,500 from the prior list, Exam 3600. In addition, the person who has the first list number obtained a score of 106.25. I'm personally like "wow!"

Got a list number in the low 400s, but I already work for metro north, would it be crazy to go to transit?

Kind of lol, depends on your job at the railroad. You can always move to a different position if you so choose to, plus you have RR retirement, the city will give you T6 63/10.

Oh yeah for sure, last list they went into the 3000s, so you'll get a call for sure.

Here is hoping that we all get on the job soon!! Still have a lot of waiting to do but that’s okay. At least we know where we stand now lol

w/ a 20xx list number , will i have a chance at getting called. also, when do u think they'll start calling from this list?

First of all, I know you're new to the site, however, as per the guidelines, please refrain from "bumping" any thread and/or topic. Keep in mind that the folks who post information on this site, including myself and the other staff members do so on a 'voluntary' basis. Therefore, just like with life, patience is key.

Second, with the fact that your list number is in the 2,000's, you will definitely have a chance at getting called. As far as when they will start calling from this particular list, I have the slightest clue. Maybe six months, maybe one year, maybe sooner. At this point in time, we just have to be patient.

Congrats to all who passed, I was able to pass and get a list# in the high 700's. Any idea as to how long until being contacted to start the employment process? I'm currently out of state but plan on relocating back, just would like some sort of a time frame.

I would say very soon, as the list already has been established and has an expiration date of 01/08/2024. This means that the TA is going to pull from our list any day now. Hopefully the city will push for more Track Workers so that we can reach the amount of list numbers that 3600 hit, even though that list moved really slow.

Whenever Transit requests a batch of candidates for Track, we'll know from this site. We'll be able to see how many vacancies and how many names they pulled.

We should see a batch of names being pulled within the next few weeks in my opinion. Depending on the amount of vacancies and so forth, keep in mind there hasn't been a class since September 2018, so whoever fired/retired/quit/promoted and or got demoted between now and then, they haven't been replaced.
