As NJ Transit’s bus and ridership reached new highs since the coronavirus pandemic, the agency decided to replace one of Academy bus companies on five busy Hudson County bus routes

NJ Transit’s board of directors award the $19 million contract to Community Transportation Inc., a Coach USA company on Wednesday.

The official switch of Hudson County local bus service on the 22, 23, 210, 88 and 119 routes happens on June 25, when the contracts with Number 22 Hillside LLC, which is an Academy Company expire.

What is the #210?

Pretty sure that should've read "2, 10" in the article.... The #2 & the #10 are both (soon to be former) Academy routes.

Question. What would happen to the buses in academy? Would all of them go to Coach USA?

Yes. Whether Elizabeth can hold additional buses is to be determined

Academy’s 17s, 19s, 20s, and 21s. Do not have clever devices and cannot be tracked via mybus, so that statement is false.

These buses are not used for NJT contract work (on a regular basis). It seems that all NJT contracted buses will use NJT's tracking system (which makes sense).
