First off, why do you label them as foamers?

Second, do you know these people personally to be calling them foamers?

I could be wrong but check your facts before using a title like that.

Agree.

I've wanted to ride the system on one swipe as well. With the looming service cuts it looks less & less likely to break any kind of record aside from platform wait time. This is their last chance.

Sorry, Harry.

I thought it called that from Straphangers.

I don't know anything about curse word, so I didn't know if it was inapproaxiate language or not.

I am not good at writing or spell or I didn't know the volcabulary of it.

While this isn't really an example of them, IMHO foamers do exist.

It's all good Yuki it's just that some people use that word way too loosely. :) We'll see if they can accomplish what they set out to do.

No, they are not foamers in any sense of the word.

However, they are both 100% certifiable nerds.

Nah, man, foamers are those people who are deeply obsessed with the subway such that they will literally drool when they see a train. I don't think these people are those people. They are more of the adventurous type of people.

well as someone who enjoys riding the trains i never understood the points of these adventures. riding the trains is nice, but i think it's best when you can just sit down, chill, and enjoy the ride...not really eating a lot, and being stuck in the system to keep moving and not being able to go to the bathroom, and running for connections to keep on pace for the record just doesn't strike me as something i'd want to do...for 3 hours let alone a whole day...

to each their own i guess...

and yes i wouldn't go around giving them the foamer label...unless they were overheard imitating train sounds during their adventure...which if they did after 24 straight hours, maybe they'd even get a free pass since it's probably lack of sleep kicking in... ;)

I wanted to pull a sub-a-thon with my ex Gia and her friend Rachel but after 6 hours and 103 stations later we were like screw it!

We did made it far, All station from 179th Street to Coney Island on the (F) All station on the (Q), the entire Astoria Line via the (W) and the (6) to City Hall-Brooklyn Bridge.

Too bad we didn't anticipate a G.O. on the (2) and Gia's brother going crazy when he found out.
