I was at Staten Island at my cousins house who lives around the corner from the SIR. So I went on a photo tour of the SIR. I have not been on SIR property in a long time. The system does have a railroad feel to it. Enjoy!

Yes thats fair. They use modified R44's like the ones used on the IND A line.

Cab signaling pick-up bars on the lead trucks, no side destination signs and untill recently, grab irons on the exterior next to each door and under the cab windows. the bars under the cab windows remain but next to the doors have been removed.

I don't usually comment on old threads. But it seems weird anyone would label a car infamous because it sounds like another car (if that's the reason), so I brought it up.
