MTR Admiralty Posted March 15, 2009 Share #16 Posted March 15, 2009 beautiful pics:cool:nice to see two lone r30 cars in redbird livery, thought they were a dying breed! They are displaced by the R40 slants that took their job at Concourse Yard. These two cars might as well be scrapped or reefed or whatever. MTR Admiralty Posted March 16, 2009 Share #18 Posted March 16, 2009 Thanks, ! Just so you know, the yard north of Bedford Park Blvd is predominantly hippo with some R142/A's lying around. The yard south of the said street has the cars waiting to be sent to 207. There are around 6 R38s from my view. Possibly 8.
8 Av/Fulton Exp Posted March 16, 2009 Share #19 Posted March 16, 2009 Nice pics. Does anyone else find it funny how fast the R38s went compared to the Phase II's? great pics loved em, even caught the red R27's chilling in there, brought back a few memories. and i agree the MTA's on my shitlist a little bit this kinda adds on to it, first by robbing the Brighton Line of its , and now making the R38's some of the most attractive and fun to ride cars i my mind extinct is the biggest travesty since rappers like Nelly, and Souljah Boy getting record deals. MTR Admiralty Posted March 17, 2009 Share #21 Posted March 17, 2009 Yeah, I know whats that yard but I am not sure of the name... It's really the same yard, Concourse. However the bridge over Concourse acts as a dividing line, to my observations

MTR Admiralty Posted March 17, 2009 Share #23 Posted March 17, 2009 Well, since they don't want a mistake since the BMT/IND cars cannot go on the IRT... It's not about that. I've seen IRT cars in the southern half many times.
