There was this blizzard in the 80's and at that time I lived right at Hillside and 168th St. where (at least at hat time) several buses terminated including some out of Nassau County. Things were so bad that nobody could escape the hill, snow, and ice. Later that evening, I took down some sandwiches, tea, and soup to as many of the drivers I could find because I think to not try to help out just a wee bit would have been a sin.
