  1. Nice try: I'll give you a breakdown of the speed limit.. Yes, speed limit is 65. However, this is not entirely set in New York State. 55 MPH: Nassau & Suffolk.. (Strictly Enforced by NYS Police and Nassau-Suffolk Highway patrol), NYS Thruway- Yonkers to Exit 15 and I-95 Westchester to New Haven. 50 MPH: Most NYC Highways* and I-95 in New Haven. 40 MPH: FDR Drive- Downtown to 61 street, than jumps to 50 up to HRD-GWB and JFK Expressway heading towards Rosedale, Five Towns and Far Rockaway. 65 MPH: NYS Thruway- Exit 15 to Albany, Buffalo, Montreal, Toronto and Niagara Falls, 65 MPH: New England- I-95 North of New Haven to Boston coastline.
  2. The HRD is a choke point from 125th. It’s a disgrace that this construction has been going on since 2013 and hasn’t fully been complete. The Willis Avenue Bridge was constructed in less than the HRD. The HRD has widened a bit. However, I wouldn’t use it as alternative until the construction is complete.
  3. Neither is good. However, if I were a bettor I’d go with 87 before the HRD. The bigger issue is that NYC needs to get on the ball and have the FDR/HRD and the rest of its highways at the state speed limit of 55 since NYS own the highways.
  4. ..... is that right near West Virginia. That suburb sounds familiar
  5. Too bad right now The Brooklyn Division (FB/FP/JG/GA) won’t put those super ultra king wraps even though it’s advertising client Outfront Media states those ultra king ads can be found in Manhattan & Brooklyn Division buses. The is crying foul with no money. Spread some love in the Brooklyn Division for these Super Ultra King ads or start going back to rear wraps.
  6. Manhattan Division could save it’s self by re-activating Amsterdam for Upper Manhattan, Wash Heights, Inwood coverage.
  7. if that depot never closed The Bronx Division would really be in good shape as far as Division wide coverage.
  8. Damm. That part I didn’t really pay attention too. Makes sense.
  9. Still looking at the draft plan and what I find interesting is that the Bx17 should of terminated along with the Bx33 in Port Morris near the old Walnut Depot now NYP Facility. potential missed opportunity to expand into Port Morris via Bx17. Current Bx17 is blocks from current Bx33 and it would of been a nice interline since WF has both the 17 & 33
  10. Yikes. Cuz it’s not a MQ bus. Bus went to 132nd early Monday. MQ needs more NG’s tho. However, right now the need is at MHV.
  11. Sir. First off don’t use my line. 2nd: There’s been various reports that a full intergration is expected on or about 2023 for OMNY unless there are serious bugs. 3rd: The B35 is/was part of plans to be intergrated into SBS in the near future unless scrapped. (I was simply asking if those plans were scrapped) 4th: We’ll wait until further confirmation from the mods. #carryon.
  12. Just spotted 4067. Recent transfer from Gun Hill with Driverside wrap of Bronx Zoo.
  13. At one point I heard the B35 was in consideration for SBS. Is that out the window? Remember OMNY is fully intergrated in 2023 pending any serious bugs.
  14. Per @Orion6025 : 4008, 4009, 4233- Yukon (YU) to Manhattanville (MV)
  15. Appreciate the clarification on this! Always wondered why SI equipment was old. However, good to know!
  16. Academy has brand new equipment. However, I’ve havent seen one of those newer buses on the Staten Island lines.
  17. Unless the grand tour of Queens is proposed than we got issues. 2 ways to avoid the grand tour of Queens. 1) 278 to Triboro. Triboro to 2nd Avenue Exp to 86th or 57th. Right on 86th or 57th to 5th Avenue. (Possible Corresponding stop on 23rd) than FDR DRIVE- DOWNTOWN with proposed stops. 2 95 to Riverside Drive to follow BxM18 proposed pattern to Downtown via West Side nonstops until WFC than Battery Park &, So. Ferry Sta..
  18. Except 3965: CS (formerly at FP) and 3966 FB (formerly at Grand Avenue)
  19. Lucky they didn’t order a set of Driverside- Super ultra king wraps for the Manhattan Division and Brooklyn Division. However, I won’t be surprised if one pops up in either division.
  20. It’s only day 2. Don’t get too hype. As with technology there are bugs.
  21. I like # 5 better. Only because you don’t have to go intra-borough Bronx to Queens just to get to Downtown Manhattan.
  22. I will say this to you. People in the lower 90’s have been called for c/r. Remember this list last 4 years with possible extension through DCAS/MTA if they want to exercise the right to extend the list plus with retirements and people not wanting the job. So, there’s still hope for those who have a 93.25, 92, 91 and 90.
  23. Plain and simple English. CO-OP CITY SCREWED THEMSELVES Also, this Bx15/M125 I have serious concerns on route performance. When the TA than scrapped the Bx55 in favor of an enhanced Bx15 it made everything longer. The TA should of been smart enough to re-instate the Bx55 and have that as the Hub to Fordham Plaza and the Bx15 retain its Hub to Manhattanville route. No need for the M125.
