    Just spotted a B47 with a Flatlands Avenue short turn sign. For as long as I’ve lived in Canarsie-East Flatbush the 47 never short turns anywhere. Still, the route needs to be split. The southern part of the route covered by Flatbush and northern part by Grand.

    Now they can slowly return those LFS back to Queens.

    That’s a copy. Prolly by the time you clear. Those 3 buses may be on the maintenance bay for work and possible pull out for tomorrow. The Kingsbridge buses don’t seem to be problematic.

    Absolutely accurate! May I add those 10 RTS from 126 eventually got moved to Quill or Flatbush or MHV (correct me on this one)

    At most possibly for rush hours and summer services to the beach. Other times. NO! B/c the way I see things right now including the Queens bus re-design I see cuts and possible route eliminations. So l’d be very careful for asking for artics especially for the Q35.

    I don’t think the route warrants artics as of yet and also there would need to be some modifications around the Junction area to accommodate. If it means eliminating the parking space for those gypsy cabs. That might be a start. Remember. You ask for artics. Expect cuts.

    I got a change to look at the media kits of Boston and Washington DC. If NYC could take a page from them with the full bus wraps previously with bus and private companies and rear bus wraps then they can generate more revenue. However, what i see with New York City is that those newer XD40’s will NOT get any driverside wraps. Possibly Bus headliners, Bus Extensions, Bus The Franklin, Bus Super Kings, and Bus Kongs.

    What about the South Bronx??? They have the bigger environmental issue than Upper Manhattan & all of Harlem.

    Fam. Listen those depots were there well before the NIMBY’s even got there. Before your time Manhattan had about 7 depots all within coverage of Manhattan. Things were a lot worse over 25 years ago compared to today. MCH could easily hold 160-180* perhaps to ease the load in the division. It doesn’t help when you have restrictions to appease the residents of the area. I guess you gotta be a shareholder to have say.

    What the hell are you talking about.. Artics are already operating on the Upper West Side in the form of Crosstown Buses. East Harlem with the M15, and Harlem with the M101, 102 and 103. Also, this talk is WAY too early for a determination of the fleet that will be used for the M96. Let the Department of Buses work with its partners at the Department of Transportation to find the best solution and the fleet that will be used.

    Accurate: 2800’s are used for the service. Do some prevosts still work the S57, S59 or any Castelton/Charleston routes during mid-day before heading back to Manhattan during PM rush.

    I will be honest with you. I’m not 100% sure. I would wait for a FB operator to confirm everything and cross referenced to the mods first. Remember all information is subject to verification before confirmed.

    Copy. Which could only mean that other side of Bergen Beach is car centric and not wise for the B3 or B41 to service south of East 71 & Avenue U.

    Hold up. Did the B41 or B3 at one point (part-time) go to East 74th Street-Bergen Avenue and Avenue U. I’m a little ignorant when it becomes to Bergen Beach bus service.

    You another one. Control your horses kid. Doesn’t mean the 46 will be articulated as of yet. Just wait for confirmation first. Usually Flatbush ops are very accurate with information which is also cross referenced and verified by mods. However, let’s wait for confirmation first.
