  1. Yes, 5227 is owned by the NJTHC. 4901 is owned by the TMNY. They're the only two recently retired RTS's to get preserved.
  2. 4854 is NOT retired. It is having its GPS repaired, it was acting wonky the past few weeks.
  3. Doing some research, "TransportAzumah" actually took over the 122 and 144 routes from Coach USA which ran between Eltingville & Hoboken. Was never aware there was a direct SI to NJ route (other then the s89). There's no record on what happened to these lines after the takeover though.
  4. I've also seen his ads for his GA bus service...it's cringy to say the least lol. But with the amount of talking he does, he should prove he can run a service like others are doing. But I will give him the benefit of the doubt, since Academy does a far worse job. I'm still shocked how EDC kept giving them the contract with the amount of complaints passengers give
  5. Good, I was told I would have had to use an LFS on a route like the SIM1C on special occasions lmao, was not looking forward to that
  6. X30? Was never aware it was ran by someone else, but that's a big no no. You can't leave riders high and dry like that...
  7. Wait, don't you run that Great Adventure bus or something? For all the talking you do, why don't you run your own routes instead of contracting them out to Greyhound or whoever you use. The express bus system is efficient, but it will always be plagued with problems.
  8. Any chance we can get something like that for the BxM3? I can't count how many times I've waited for the Bx9 at 242nd St only for a BxM3 to pass by with no local bus in site.
  9. Wow, thats a lot. Is it true if your doing an express run they will sometimes ask you to cover a school tripper, or if you have a local bus they ask you to do an express run?
  10. @SevenEleven how are the trip paddles in Staten Island? I'm looking to transfer there once I'm done with probation, but im wondering if the dispatchers throw you on random assignments like you could be doing a straight s46 trip and they throw you on an S96 run instead?
  11. Eliminating half of the conductor jobs will have the Union coming after like crazy. You saw what happened when they tried to make the one person operation.
  12. Then you haven't ridden the M15/Bx12 during rush hour prior to SBS conversion and right now.
  13. It has in some cases, but mostly everyone uses the front door and without traffic signal priority, the load times are basically the same.
  14. The Bx12 and M15 SBS have gotten progressively worse since their debuts as SBS routes. No one respects the bus lanes, traffic is worse, delays in loading the bus, just revert them back to LTD's at this point
  15. I have good news! expects to start calling people for this exam THIS summer. They do not have definite date yet, but it will be soon. Source: MTAExamUnit
  16. I've sent several emails to the exam unit and haven't gotten a response either.
  17. Best mechanics? AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Have you SEEN the XD60's on the B38 and 95% of the D60HF fleet?
  18. Traffic cases? You mean like red light camera tickets or?
  19. Of course they're short 400 operators, and they're going at an even slower pace then they were before because of the pandemic.
  20. There are rerouted B D N Q trains due to NYPD activity on the Manhattan Bridge. B No trains between 2 Av and Prospect Park. D Via F line in both directions between W 4 St and Coney Island N and Q Via R line in both directions between DeKalb Av and Canal St.
  21. Why is 6032 to 6082 randomly split between 3 depots and between MTA NYCT / MTA Bus?
  22. I find it quite odd how the Q98V didn't make a lot of stops yet it wasn't classified as a limited.
