I'd recommend the Fuji. GE-branded cameras aren't really made by GE; they are manufactured under license (basically GE allows them to use their trademark which imo is dumb but w/e)

I dont think your camera would have any manual control modes..try playing around with the Scene modes or Program (P) mode, if it has one.

It's not the camera, but the person behind the camera. A camera is a machine. It does not have any photography skill.

Allshit (i mean alstom) should NEVER build anything at all for NYC again. The end. if this hasn't been said already since I didnt read through all 10 pages lol the MTA is supposed to go with whoever has the offer with the lower price. Me I think they will probably end up with kawasaki or bombardier again; of course it would always nice to see a 3rd party manufacturer come into the subway however.

for me, it was the RFW, BVE and Photography... As long as i can remember the first thing id do when get on a train is to run up to the RFW (slants on the west end B ftw).. I discovered BVE about 6-7 years ago, and later started developing for it.. To be totally honest, now, the NYC subway has lost its appeal (it just isn't what it used to be anymore), most of the trains look exactly the same (soon it'll be all of them) on top of the fact I've pretty much seen the entire subway (except woodlawn) and now im just in it for the photo ops lol As for fantrips, I still never been inside a bus depot or train yard or rode a MoD train or other special fantrip lol
