  1. Might as well add 5699 to that list. It was torched during the summer.
  2. I just saw the schedule card for run 201 and it's 62 trips (31 round trips).
  3. I was under the same impression, but I saw it with my own eyes on the lift getting worked on.
  4. How about peak direction express service? S/B 145 - 96 N/B 96 - 157
  5. Yup, I don't recall that one ever being on our roster in the past either.
  6. This is rather interesting, last week I saw 5416 in the maintenance bay with KB stickers on it. I have no clue if it's going into service.
  7. I kind of wish they would send some to KB I miss driving those things.
  8. Hmmm, I saw one of the Fishbowls heading towards Gun Hill Depot. I wonder what that may be about?
  9. I have... TA reflective vest NYCT canvas gloves 1974 Bronx Bus Map 1974 Manhattan Bus Map 1974 Staten Island Bus Map 1983 Subway Map 1989 Subway Map SMEE Brake Handle Orion VI OG Operators Manual Orion VI NG Operators Manual New Flyer D60 Operators Manual
  10. Jay, From what I've been told we have to study the bulletins, 19A rules & regulations, pay practice, running time, speed calculation and some general contract knowledge. If you look in the "new york city bus" section and look in the "what is the standard B/O day like" thread I broke down how to pay a run. You can print all the bulletins from the kiosk in the depot. PM me your e-mail I can forward you a copy of the contract, running time and speed calculation formulas.
  11. All the F5 button does is tally that there was a short fare. It doesn't magically notify NYPD that there are fare beaters on board.
  12. Say bye to the 6000 series Orions at KB. Some 6100's have come to replace them. Your missing out. Especially when a professional is driving one
  13. That issue was some dude trying to off himself at 165th street lol.
  14. The only good about them is the drive shaft whine. That's about it lol.
  15. I beg to differ, they were slow as sh*t. The only good ones I remember driving were 5294, 5296 (fast but would not stop, had extremely long brakes), 5463 (same problem as 5296), 5477, 5491 and 5497 off the top of my head. 5301 and 5478 were the WORST of the crop, talk about NO power. I really wish NF didn't change articulated joint as the old ATG joint had a nice turning radius of 41' (although some feel like they turn much tighter) compared to the 44' radius on the new Hubner joints found on the LFSA and XD60.
  16. Oh boy the RTS bulletin board. I learned the hard way of what "NO ROOKIES", "S/L" (Short left) and "S/R" (short right) mean on the RTS. It was like my 3rd day on my own, I had an RTS on the Bx36 with all those damn turns I had to back up at least 5 times lol the wheel would only go about 1.5 turns to the right which is a sizable difference from a bus that turns as it should. Even some of the D60's have short lefts/rights, I learned the hard way on 147th and Broadway at like 1am making a u-turn to do my last trip to Bronx Pk.
  17. Hey, If you are placed on a medical hold during final processing they will give you a chance to obtain clearance from your PCP. As far as the "certificate" it's all or nothing, it's either your cleared or not pretty much.
  18. I can't stress that part enough. I HATE seeing doctors and HATE having wires attached to me even more! After I relaxed and distracted myself while they were doing the EKG and BP I was well within normal readings.
  19. Very Interesting...It seems as though the XD60's are retrofitted with Clever Devices Intelligent Vehicle Network.
  20. Would anyone happen to know if back in the 60's and 70's if the T/O's and C/R's had the "TA" logo pictured below as a patch on their uniform or did they not wear uniforms back then?
