Let these buses stay lol I with they could stay but I doubt it because ever since RTS's left Kingsbridge they had never returned. This is also the second time that the RTS left West Farms for a certain reason.
MTARegional Bus Posted December 16, 2009 Share #10 Posted December 16, 2009 That a storage yard next door to the WF depot,I remember there was alot of TMC RTS 2 years ago a year after there were at MTA bus,I guess there going to get transfer to MTA bus. Grand Concourse Posted December 17, 2009 Share #11 Posted December 17, 2009 Makes sense about the RTS, as much as I'd like RTSs in the Bronx again, I don't think it would make sense to have a few there again. Keep the Bronx RTS free. For the CNGs- I don't understand why they sent a couple of SC buses there unless those are going to CP? Because if JG is going to be getting buses, it would make more sense to to send those SC buses directly to JG than to move the the CP buses to JG*. The other thing is: Is this being used as an overflow for Eastchester's storage lot?
MTARegional Bus Posted December 17, 2009 Share #13 Posted December 17, 2009 Could be,Theres still a lot of long island buses still at Eastchester depot.I guess there using this as temporary storage yard on till the buses at eastchester gets repaired to go to MTA Bus or go to the scrap yard. T J Trainman Posted December 17, 2009 Share #14 Posted December 17, 2009 I have a strange feeling that these could be MTA Bus bound.
Fresh Pond Posted December 17, 2009 Share #15 Posted December 17, 2009 Its nothing more but a storage yard. From what I've seen from past observations, they most likely might just go to bus. One time I seen the 80xx's-83xx's held there before they went to Bus (some even still had the Yukon logo on it.) I've seen MCI's there too, again before they went to Bus
Princelex Posted December 17, 2009 Share #16 Posted December 17, 2009 I don't. Then bring them over to Gun Hill. I would so love to ride an RTS on the Bx26, Bx28 or Bx30 one more time.
