gregorygrice Posted January 24, 2010 Share #15 Posted January 24, 2010 Where is that single-track tunnel? It sure seems like a glimpse of history... Thats inside the 97th St. Portal. When you enter the tunnel the two local tracks on the farther sides are single tunnels while the two middle tracks are together in one tunnel. Amtrak7 Posted January 27, 2010 Share #23 Posted January 27, 2010 Also, Fred, don't the long exposure M7 blur shots require a very stable support? What did you use for one?
Fred G Posted January 27, 2010 Author Share #24 Posted January 27, 2010 Also, Fred, don't the long exposure M7 blur shots require a very stable support? What did you use for one? I was using the window itself with the lens pressed up to it and also my hand under the camera. Not perfect, but gets the job done, plus I refrained from snapping over switches and other bumps. I'll bet if one were to pixel peep there would be flaws but I'm confident I could print those pics out at say, 8x10 and have a suitable framed pic.
