Was there ever a depot assignment list even made? Last I checked, the only list shared was the number of units allocated to the Bus Co depots.

There was a depot assignment for the base LFSes for Bus Co.:

BP: 8964-9009

JFK/FR: 9010-9049

LGA: 9050-9074

EC: 9075-9098

ECH was later allotted XD40s so I don't know why 8964 is there.

I can recall that if LaGuardia gets LFSes, and that Eastchester may need loans, then the LFSes are there at EC because of getting to know that fleet.

Once again, I would refrain from saying which buses will go to which depots. As we have seen with the most recent LFS diesel and hybrid orders, the buses do not get delivered in order. All we know is what is slated for each depot. No fleet numbers have been confirmed.

That’s the old list. There is a newer list since the order is now up to 9271.

Small note, 5310 is a KB unit. Also, 5317 has been at Tuskegee since January. Its not part of the loans that came over during the past few days.

What a catch! I personally can’t wait for the new LFS’s to hit service for MTA Bus. The first of the LFS’s should be arriving any day at the point. I figured MTA Bus would get XD40s but never did I expect them to get LFS’s. I do remember an LFS testing on the Q60 back in 2009 though.
