m7zanr160s Posted September 21, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 21, 2010 I don't have pictures for proof, but today I saw two pair of M7's with ad strips on a train heading eastbound along Bedell St., in the evening. First time I've seen that.

Dave160 Posted September 22, 2010 Share #3 Posted September 22, 2010 I haven't seen new trains tagged with graffiti but I saw one R68A NIS . He's talking about actual advertisements not graffiti... Anyway yea I just heard about this today from a new MTA Youtube video. On a side note the GCT shuttle trains now have temporary TV's in them from TBS to show baseball highlights. Joe Posted September 22, 2010 Share #6 Posted September 22, 2010 I spotted this set headed to layup at Jamaica this afternoon. Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't advertising shit-tastic Cablevision services.

Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't advertising shit-tastic Cablevision services. Snapped a quick pic of that set in layup on the tail tracks. And I agree, it would have been better if it isn't cablevision
St Louis Car 09 Posted September 22, 2010 Share #10 Posted September 22, 2010 Man the is desperate. Now there`s corporate graffiti on the M7`s?!!! Doesn`t look bad though:)
Princelex Posted September 22, 2010 Share #11 Posted September 22, 2010 The ads look good on the train. It gives it more color and that's never a bad thing IMO. Thumbs up from me!
Shortline Bus Posted September 22, 2010 Share #12 Posted September 22, 2010 Man the is desperate. Now there`s corporate graffiti on the M7`s?!!! Doesn`t look bad though:) Well said St Louie. Personally i 'old school' and had prefer if Chairman Walder made the ads inside the subway or rail car and even explore the option of station naming rights. However If this means keep fares low/preventing more service cuts, I am all for it.

w8Hou Posted September 23, 2010 Share #17 Posted September 23, 2010 Just ad wrap the entire car, and gain more money with that. You can also add some ad displays or ad wrap the interior as well for all I and any commuters care since everybody knows MTA has money and rehoycing themselves with more green.
