Donald Posted September 13, 2011 Share #28 Posted September 13, 2011 Yes, make sure you have everything because they do send a lot of people home. When I was there for condcutor, the guy next to me was there for B/O and he got sent home because he had a bad driving record. They told him not to come back until 2012 (or 2013, I don't remember the year).

I can't wait. It's all I'm thinking about today:o lol

LOL at the 21 page booklet, I filled it out as soon as I got home from pre-employment. Your life story in 21 pages, lol. Make copies of it just in case. I hope you get in the 9/26 class. I wonder if they will stop at #1537 for the pre employment letters, that is the last number certified according to the DCAS automated line. I believe they are at least up to #1300(aliathegreat)

Locomotion69 Posted September 17, 2011 Share #45 Posted September 17, 2011 Ha its a lot better than the RN's at my current job...they have the 30/62 plan. Most people don't even have a pension plan, and for those with 401k's the majority don't fund it let alone max it out. I finally came to my senses and I am going to send my written request to DCAS to restore my name back on the #8006 list. #706 here and you guys are ahead of me. B) I didn't think the list would move like this, gotta live today, don't wait. Life is short, you only get one turn.
Acela Express Posted September 17, 2011 Share #46 Posted September 17, 2011 otherwise known as the CPD(B)(Comprehensive Personnel Document). What is in the 21 page booklet? I have yet to come across one of those. Schools you attended, employment history, criminal history, drivers license, medical history.....basically your life history...they want to know everything about you. It's also a document to make sure you're staying consistenent with other paperwork you've filled out for them because that's what the investigator will look into once you're done with final processing / medical. Those who were called for final processing, be sure to be there maybe about an hour early, and to get on the ticket line first - basically first come first serve at the EMP center, depending on how everything goes. You want to get out at 12pm or 5pm? Your choice. Good luck, gentlemen.

Restore that number A.S.A.P!!! Best of luck! No problem, just as long as you know your own list number.B) I didn't think they would hire again for awhile after the 8/29 class, Plus I didn't want to have to go through what others went through with having to take the drug test 3-4 times. I was going to mail a written request to DCAS to restore my name on the list but Acela advised me to go in person to speed up the process. 1 Centre St, at the end of Chambers St, huge 39 story building, can't miss it.
