Besides, that's a rush hour service down Bloomfield Avenue, where that street really needs express bus service. If the neighborhood wasn't so crappy, they might have gotten Metro D's Suburbans when they were available. Yet, and this might sound bad, but Newark, Irvington, Bloomfield, Maplewood: Those towns are not Disneyland. Not safe, history of violence, history of robberies on NJT buses when the 107 and 108 took cash, now fareboxes. The same thing that happened in Philadelphia with the 400, 403, 459, and 463 after reported incidents of robberies, even on NBC10 Philly News when a B/O talked to reporters. It's funny that out of all the NYC lines that NJT have, only 5 are Exact Fare: 107, 108, 123, 125, and 126 (Though 123, 125, and 126 can use MCI's if necessary because I have done and seen all three use MCI's before). BTW, I made an error on a previous post: GO25 services Springfield Avenue while the GO28 services Bloomfield Avenue. Sorry. I'm not saying they HAVE to be on suburbans, I just can't see NJT using transit buses on their GO routes. I would think if they didn't care about having either transits or suburbans on the GO 25, they would've just painted one of Hilton's transit Novas in "GO" colors, instead of getting the suburban Novas..But we'll just have to see. Orion VII 4 Life Posted August 1, 2012 Share #592 Posted August 1, 2012 When buses are in black and white, they are destined to the scrapper Academy used black and white RTSs at EWR, I believe for employee shuttles not the parking lots which use the Port Authority's Orion VII OGs, but IDK if they were NJT-owned or not. I noticed that the employee shuttles there are now operated under Golden Touch (still technically Academy) with cutaway buses like they use on the NYC Airporter. The parking lot/AirTrain shuttles are still under Academy but use O7s exclusively, so IDK what happened to the black and white RTSs but they could still be in Academy's possession. Also Academy has directly-owned RTSs numbered in the 1000s (which may include the EWR shuttles I mentioned), so those buses weren't necessarily NJT buses. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not sure what other units Veolia has but I did see another one earlier, didn't catch the number though.
