Sorry that was idiotic... What about the second plan I posted?

 

Trains station on the express track. (7) trains run local from TSQ to 61st-Woodside, with a train shuttle from 61st to Junction Blvd.

 

Shuttle buses run from 74th Street to Flushing.

 

 

NEXT: A tanker truck has been involved in an accident and is ablaze on the Manhattan Bridge. As a result, the bridge is closed to all road and train traffic.

 

Are trucks allowed on that bridge, lol!

 

This is an emergency, so I'll go over 30tph

 

(B) trains run via 8th Av and Fulton local to Euclid

Use (B) trains to the (S) to get to the (Q) for Brighton Service

(D) trains run in two sections, 205th to West 4th and Atlantic to Coney Island

(N) trains run from Astoria to Canal Street

(Q) trains run via tunnel.

NEXT: Structural problems were revealed on the (7) line between 52 St and 82 St. It is a hazard to be driving in that area, so homes and businesses have been evacuated and no buses will run in that area. There is also a bus shortage at the time due to the (A) train shuttle and the work that is being planned. Trains can not go near the part that of the structural problems because it is being said that the weight of the trains will make the structure collapse. Trains can only run between Times Sq and 40 St and Junction Blvd and Flushing Main Street. Residents in Queens still need to get to Manhattan without problems, and routes that are open in the area will be flooded with cars and buses. How will you fix this situation? The (7) will re-open with a new structure in a few years.

(Q) Coney Island to Franklin, with wooden platform extensions; since this is basically permanent, then begin laying down the second track on the space that was reserved for it, though Park Pl. will have to be reconfigured for this.

 

‹Q› Brighton Beach to DeKalb, relay to Gold St. interlocking, and then wrong rail to Pacific, and then wrong rail back to Gold St. on the southbound side, and then enter service on A3 track at DeKalb.

 

(W) West End Line to PAcific, then cros over to stop at Dekalb, (to avoid ‹Q› wrong rail moves), and then follow Gold St. relay, to Pacific, and then continue south.

 

(N)(R) To Court St. 

 

On the other side, depends on where in Manhattan power is out. If 34th St. was accessible, then (B)(D) would terminate there; between (N)(R), one would terminate at 34th, and the other at 42nd.

 

Fulton local service would be increased (with either (A)(C) local/exp swap, or (C)(E) swap), to pick up additional riders from Franklin.

But then, that is determined by where the power is out in Manhattan.

Stop retiring buses, so you can run shuttle buses. Get rid of parking on Roosevelt, so you can reserve a lane for buses. SBS machines will be put in, taken from the opening B44 SBS. This SBS will run on Roosevelt from Main Street to Queens Blvd. It will then run on Queens Blvd, only stopping at 46th Street, Queens Plaza and Queensboro Plaza where it will turn around and head back to Flushing.

 

(7) trains run from TSQ to 46th Street

A metor has Struck On the Manhattan Bridge , Collapsing It and Is Ablaze. The metor Has also affected Subway and Home Power in Manhattan causing no power. (I got this idea from that metor that hit Saturday. I forgot where?) What is the reroute?

 

I'm assuming NO power is out.

 

This is a long term solution:

 

I am putting a few switches in an stuff, here they are

-Broadway express tracks connected to the bottom level at City Hall (it is pumped out)

-X switch before Pacific St on the 4th Ave express tracks

-X switch after Atlantic on the Brighton Line

 

(N) trains run via tunnel

(Q) trains run in two sections, Astoria to City Hall Lower Level and DeKalb Ave to Coney Island

(B) trains run from Bedford/145th to Church Ave (Culver)

(D) trains run in two sections, 205th to W4 and Pacific to Coney Island

I'm going to assume that as this is an emergency, more than 30TPH can be used in some situations.  It also assumes the tracks to the Rockaways are back to normal:

 

ALL (A) service runs to Far Rockaway or Rockaway Park (no Rockaway Park (S) service during this)

 

(B) runs Bedford Park Boulevard OR 145th Street to Broadway-Lafatette Street (express platform) with LIMITED service to Grand Street

 

(C) is extended to Lefferts Boulevard (because of the (D), see below)

 

(D) runs in two sections:

205th Street, Bronx-Euclid Avenue, Brooklyn (via 8th Avenue line south of West 4th and Fulton Street lines, local on Fulton Street line)

Whitehall Street (Broadway Line Station), Manhattan-Coney Island, Brooklyn via Montauge tunnel (local on 4th Avenue line)

(Transfer between the two (D) lines at Jay Street-Metrotech)

 

LIMITED (F) trains run via the (G) between Queens Plaza and Hoyt-Schermerhorn (a transfer between the Manhattan-Euclid (D) and those (F) and (G) trains is available at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street on the Fulton line).  Most (F) trains run normal.

 

(G) is extended to 71st-Continental

 

(M) is unaffected

 

(N) and (Q) operate via the tunnel between Canal Street-DeKalb Avenue ( (N) runs as a local on the 4th Avenue Line to 59th Street, (Q) operates as a local in Manhattan and Brooklyn).  There is a special OOS transfer available between the Queenboro Plaza and Queens Plaza stations (ask for a BLOCK transfer at either station).

 

(R) runs between DeKalb Avenue (Bridge tracks) OR Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center (Pacific Street) and 95th Street, Brooklyn, running as an express between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and 59th Street.

A structural problem was found at the  (7) platform of 42nd Street - Bryant Park (I'm not referring to the (7) as 5th Avenue). Trains cannot pass the areas near the station. This would take a 5 year-fix. What would you do?  

As this would be a five-year fix, here's how I would handle this:

 

(7) terminates at Grand Central

 

FREE OOS transfer between the subway at Grand Central (Lexington, Park and Madison Avenues) and the M42 and M104 buses.  There also are special OOS transfers between the subway and the Q32 Bus at Queensboro Plaza in Queens AND 3rd Avenue-59th and 60th Streets in Manhattan AND 5th Avenue-60th Street in Manhattan (These transfers do not count against the normal transfer on pay-per-ride MetroCards, passengers can re-enter the subway if they use any of these transfers from it).

 

(A) runs local 125th-168th Street at all times and is express in Brooklyn at all times (normal Manhattan service late nights).

 

(B) runs at all times 34th Street-Brighton Beach via 6th Avenue express and Brighton Express.

 

(C) runs at all times and is re-routed to 205th Street to replace the (D) in the Bronx.  Late nights, (C) is extended to Lefferts Boulevard to replace the late-night shuttle.

 

(D) becomes yellow, replaces the (F) in Queens from 179th Street and via 63rd Street in Manhattan AND operates as a Broadway express train from 57th Street-Coney Island at all times via the bridge.

 

(E) operates on the express track between Canal Street and 42nd Street-8th Avenue, skipping Spring and 23rd Street.

 

(F) operates 34th Street-Coney Island ONLY, with some trains operating express 34th Street-West 4th in Manhattan.

 

(M) is re-routed via 8th Avenue local from Broadway-Lafayette to 5th Avenue-53rd Street.

 

The 47th-50th Street/Rockerfeller Plaza and 57th Street-6th Avenue stations are closed until further notice.  Please use nearby Broadway line stations for service to/from this area.

A (C) train has derailed at 42 St , Port Authority and the station isn't passable. Reroute all trains.

(A) Via (F) from Jay St to Broadway-Lafayette, then via the (D) to 59th St. Runs local on CPW and St. Nicholas.

(C) 34th St-Euclid Ave (Southbound trains run express on 8th Ave) Any (C) trains currently heading southbound in service north of 42nd St will terminate at either 50th St or 2nd Ave and will be held there until the incedent has been cleared. Trains heading northbound will be held in 174th St Yard, with a few being turned around NIS, to deadhead to Brooklyn.

(E) Via 6th Ave Local

(B) Brighton Beach-Forest Hills via Broadway Express, and QBL Local

(N) Via Montaugue

(M) Metropolitan Ave-Chambers St

(A): Via 6th Avenue Local in both directions b/w 59th Street and West 4th Street.

(C):

From Brooklyn - Trains terminate at 34th Street/Penn Station, and run via 8th Avenue Express.

From 168th Street - Trains run via 6th Avenue Local.

(E): Via 6th Avenue Local in both directions b/w 5th Avenue/53rd Street and West 4th Street. Select trains run via the Brooklyn-Queens Crosstown Line to Bedford-Nostrand Avenues, or Court Square-Long Island City.

(F): Most trains run via Brooklyn-Queens Crosstown Line in both directions.

(M): Select trains run via Nassau Street Line to Chambers Street.

 

Southbound (C) or (E) trains already at 50th Street or 7th Avenue/53rd Street terminate there until the collision is cleared.

There is a free OOS-transfer b/w 50th Street/8th Avenue (C)(E) and 50th Street/Broadway (1), using the passageway b/w those stations.

How to Answer: 

Copy and paste this notification and explain how you will re-route trains without bunching on shuttle buses, therefore flooding the streets and preventing (MTA) workers from fixing the area, therefore, LIMITED SHUTTLE BUSES!!! WE DON'T WANT STREETS FLOODED WITH PEOPLE AND BUSES. Trains can be rerouted, but you have to explain the minutes between each train. If you can't then that is not considered correct. Lets do mine the real way and let someone satisfy me before posting a new one. -.-

Until further notice:

Due to the hurricane, (4)(5) and (6) trains are not running between Brooklyn Bridge- City Hall and 86 Street. 

     Structural problems have been revealed in the tunnels and all power is out. There was also flooding in the tunnels. No trains can pass due to no power in that area. Signals, switches, lights, and much more things are not working. Power has to be restored, water has to be pumped out, and the structure needs to be overhauled.

Ok, 5 runs via the 2 train ,4 will run between 125th and Woodlawn transfer to the 2/5 for the 3 for Brooklyn service and the 6 between 86th and phelam 1 trains are extended after rector st (assuming that sandy has a lready hit) 1 trains run via the loop through bowling green to Brooklyn bridge
