mark1447 Posted December 31, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted December 31, 2011 They don't include the changes intended by Veolia (ie, N22L, and N1 service to Valley Stream Station. Yes I know. They did removed the route box they had in the bottom for LIB and also added a box to contact NICE.
Mysterious2train Posted December 31, 2011 Share #4 Posted December 31, 2011 The changes to the Q21 (the re-route to B 67th St in Arverne, and the new Q21LTD that bypasses Lindenwood) are supposed to take place in Janaury, right? It's still shown traveling on its old route. Plus the parks weren't recolored back to green like on the Bronx and Brooklyn maps...
isaacsorden Posted December 31, 2011 Share #5 Posted December 31, 2011 Are they taking the metro card still.

I was wondering about the Q21 too! its suppose to start on the 12th i believe. Im also curious about the QM16 going into Riis pk yet they dont show the Q22's nor Q35's summer service into it. Amtrak7 Posted December 31, 2011 Share #8 Posted December 31, 2011 Hence the effective date of Jan 1, 2012. MTA never dates their bus maps, only months. This is probably online only.
VWM Posted January 2, 2012 Share #9 Posted January 2, 2012 They don't include the changes intended by Veolia (ie, N22L, and N1 service to Valley Stream Station. Is the n22L a LTD n22?
checkmatechamp13 Posted January 2, 2012 Share #10 Posted January 2, 2012 Is the n22L a LTD n22? Sort of. It follows the N22 route, except it doesn't go into the Roosevelt Field Mall and the Mineola Intermodal Center.
Q43LTD Posted January 6, 2012 Share #11 Posted January 6, 2012 The map doesn't the (Q40) and (Q65) route changes either
Mysterious2train Posted January 7, 2012 Share #12 Posted January 7, 2012 I kinda get what Amtrak7 is saying, but I really don't see the point in releasing a map a few days before a pick starts that doesn't reflect the numerous changes in that pick. At least the new schedules are up. Here's the new Q11/Q21: For the map on the last page of the timetable, the Q11 is re-colored from black to grey, the Q21 from blue to black, and the Q21 LTD is blue. On the actual running times, the Q21 local goes from blue to black but the Q11 is black as well. Timetable colors, fascinating stuff
Q43LTD Posted January 7, 2012 Share #13 Posted January 7, 2012 January 8, it starts. Can't wait to try it

Amtrak7 Posted January 7, 2012 Share #15 Posted January 7, 2012 What (Q40) and (Q65) Changes? Q40 uses the northbound path in both directions (no more 140 St service) Q65 rerouted off 14 Av (no more dogleg)
