Which one doesn't belong (Subway edition)

Well if that's the case it's Ave J, the only station without a duplicated name.

Nope

Spring St because there's no transfer to a bus...

No

145th Street on the (1) , it is the only station with a connection to a yard (the underground 137th Street Yard)

Nope

145th Street on the (1); it's the only station that doesn't have 4 tracks.

That's not it either...

Screw it, I'll give the answer so someone else can go. The answer was Avenue J because that's the only one without offset platforms

Next person can go

Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK because it has a connection to an airport and a railroad

Nope.

Sutphin, the only station in Queens.

Nope.

Fulton St - Broadway/Nassau because it's the only station where there is NO SERVICE at its platforms on one line after nights and on weekends and holidays (J)(Z)

You're somewhat on the right track, but not the answer I was looking for.

Well then, shall we call the 24hr rule?

Might as well. The answer is Fulton St - Broadway/Nassau  (A)(C)(J)(Z)(2)(3)(4)(5); it's the only station where you can't transfer for any local interborough buses.

Sutphin Boulevard-JFK Airport  (E)  (J)  (Z): Q8, Q24, Q44, Q54, Q56, Q60

Parkchester  (6): Bx36, Q44

Flatbush Avenue - Brooklyn College  (2)  (5): Q35

Marcy Avenue  (J)  (M)  (Z): B32, B39, B62, Q39, Q54, Q59

Since TeeLow came close, he probably should go next.

You could also say New Lots IRT because of no Avenue U Station.

I think that it isn't Kings Highway because New Lots IRT intersects Kings Highway at East 98th Street.

So I'm going with New Lots IRT because it doesn't intersect Avenue U.

New Lots IRT because it's the only line without a Kings Highway Station

CORRECT!!!

So I'm going with New Lots IRT because it doesn't intersect Avenue U.

The clues states that ALL FOUR lines intersect with this street. The New Lots lines does NOT intersect with Avenue U, but DOES with Kings Hwy.

Another answer I would've accepted is Sea Beach (BMT) because it's the only line that goes UNDER Kings Hwy.

The correct answer is New Lots Line (IRT) because it intersects with Kings Hwy but doesn't have a named station.

Avenue X (F)

Rockaway Parkway (L)

86th Street (N)

Avenue J (Q)

Important Hint: Does not have to do with the fact that there are no stairs at the Rocaway Parkway platform.

That should also eliminate the answer that Rockaway Pkwy (L) is the only station at street level, right?

My answer is Rock Pkwy  (L)  because it's the only line you don't need your Metro Card to transfer to a bus (B42). The B42 is inside the station at street level. The B6, 60&82 are outside the station and you need the card to transfer.

Ave X (F) , the B1&4 are downstairs on 86th St.

86th St (R) , the B1&16, S53&79 are upstairs on 4th Ave and 86th St.

Ave J (Q) , the B6&11 are downstairs on Ave J.

*Query* Weren't buses by rule eliminated and the answer should be "Subway only"? Not saying my answer is the right one...just asking.
